Chris P
My KWA G19, the one with the metal slide. I won this one at Arniegeddon 05 for being a fugetive and holding onto my sash for 2 hours. For the majority of that 2 hours me and my brother were sat under a bush, picking off anyone who came too close

Hero
hey guys, i am about to get either the KWA G18 or G19, and that I have a Socom silencer, 32mm Diameter, 105mm long, they have a 16mm x 1mm pitch CW thread and it can fit on a TM socom. Just wondering what i need to get in order for my silencer to work on my new glock 18/19? is it possible? cheers
ViciousV10s
Hero, you need a threaded outer barrel for your Glock. The outer barrels for the 18 and 19 are not the same design on the chamber end. Guarder makes CW and CCW 14mm threaded barrels for the 18, and G&G also makes a 14mm CW threaded barrel for the 18. G&G makes a 14mm CW barrel for the 19 DENtrinity used to have Shooter's Design CW and CCW 14mm barrels but have not been in stock for a while now I have only seen 14mm threaded barrels that are either CW or CCW, if you want to use that silencer you have you would most likely need a custom made 16mm threaded barrel made. Good luck. PS> G&G barrels do not cycle well, even with plastic slides. You are best off getting a Guarder threaded barrel for the 18 and buy that G&G SS100 silencer. The barrel is about 40 USD and the G&GSS100 is about 25 USD. THe G&G SS100 and SS80 silencers are very good quality especially for the low cost. They even have foam inserts, I own a few. Hero
i've put my silencer onto my m92f springer, and even those it doesn't have any threaded barrel, i still managed to put it on, LOL (i put the silencer on slowly and turn clockwise and its now stay) anyway, do u know if the m92f has a 16 or 14mm barrel? just a normal m92f i mean. thx
Hero
also, where in the uk can i get a 14mm threaded barrel?
ViciousV10s
Im not from the UK Hero so I dont know where you can get the barrels, I order all my parts from HK stores like uncompany.com dentrinity.com and wgcshop.com I dont know anything about the M92s.
Hero
are they easy to install? i mean the threaded barrel onto a glock18
ViciousV10s
are they easy to install? i mean the threaded barrel onto a glock18 <{POST_SNAPBACK}> All you do is take off the slide, take out the recoil spring, take out the inner/outer barrels, and replace the outer barrel, probably takes about 10 seconds to do. LeMongelo
PS> G&G barrels do not cycle well, even with plastic slides. You are best off getting a Guarder threaded barrel for the 18 and buy that G&G SS100 silencer. The barrel is about 40 USD and the G&GSS100 is about 25 USD. Just to note...the problem with the cycling of G&G barrels is because of the way the inner barrel engages the outer. It has nothing to do with how the shape of the barrel or the material of the slide. If you notice when the slide is back, the outer barrel moves backward slightly. The inner barrel gets caught against the front edge of the outer barrel. At least this was the case for my G26C. Hope this helps.
