RSP1
but you know. . on the Bob Chow. . I DO like the stipling effect around the frame, forestrap, backstrap, etc. .easy to do on stock WAs .. .but on a metal framed one. . that would be a challenge (moreso time consuming). <{POST_SNAPBACK}> But doesn't the Bob Chow have a plastic frame as stock anyway, so that it doesn't make any difference? That is, your point is that the stippling is an effect hard to acheive by hand on a metal frame. But, this gun has a plastic frame so it's a moot point - you'd have to buy an aftermarket frame with the stippling if you wanted it metal, and at that point it wouldn't matter that you had bought the uglychow in the first place. Same goes for the metal frame. . if you had a metal framed MEU. . and you wanted to Bob Chow stippling.. then it would be harder to do in metal. . than on a stock WA (non-Bob Chow) If I bought the Prime Bob Chow metal kit.. there would be no need to do the stippling.. You're misunderstanding my post. the main point is. .I like the Bob Chow stipling ...not the gun Edited May 18, 2007 by the cleaner

the cleaner
but I still wouldn't buy the Prime Bob Chow kit . .cuz I can't stand A1/Govt. frames ..the stipling would look a lil better on series 80 frames w/ beavertails

davedawg123
That's because Prime does their slides differently compared to stock WA and some others.

hkssr20det
I finally got both my full length guide rod and a silver hammer (which doesn't make the gun shoot full auto).
hardboiledcop
hmm, I love it, all except the trigger. In a GM you should have a short standard trigger, or at the very most a combat trigger, but that's just me. -- On another note, does anyone here own a Kimber with the full-size CDP kit? ta. Squeak
Can some one tell me if the Tm 1911 grips will fit a WA Kimber Warrior? i'm sure they're compatible.
Lithium Jack
I'm sure they are, but why would anyone commit such an atrocity?
Squeak
Well, i eventually want to make a 1911 like the one above and i'll use the grips from my Warrior on the 1911 but just want something to go on the Warrior until i can get some real wood grips. I know it'll look a bit ###### but it'll do for a month or so.

Slug Pellets
Good things come to those who wait <{POST_SNAPBACK}> hitmanNo2 = psychic? Silver V12 kit at Boomarms On another note: Mathub you've got a lovely collection there. How many pistols have you got in total (1911 & otherwise)? hardboiledcop
445 dollars though, pretty pricey indeed.. especially considering the amount of work that'll have to go into getting it functional..
hitmanNo2
I've known Boom had them in stock for a while now and i've been trying to order them, but they weren't replying to my e-mails. Looks like i've found my opportunity at below. I did not see that coming. Gonna be an expensive couple of months methinks. Edited May 21, 2007 by hitmanNo2
