ruchik
I'm pretty sure a 1911 won't fire with the hammer uncocked anyway.
rhyyke
r. ocelot, how was the fit on that kit? what base gun did you use and how much modifying did you need to do? looks damn nice btw.
r.ocelot
I didn't build this one, got it in a trade. From the looks of it, everything was a pretty tight fit, and the inner chamber took a lot of custom work to fit. Everything else was fine. Base gun was an SCW2 Kimber TLE/RL II

Lithium Jack
That's how it works for Springfields with front slide serrations
hkssr20det
The hammer is a CP (on R.Ocelot's V12), and my CP hammers don't look any thinner than that. Edited August 19, 2007 by hkssr20det
Mathub
I have 2 CP hammers on my silver meu, and the black. The hammer don't look the same, that's why I was asking. Â You can clearly see the difference with this pic : Â
hitmanNo2
The serrations are due to the fact that Mathubs silver SA uses the PGC MEU kit which accurately portrays how some of the slides looked. They re-used old slides and added the front serrations on the real steel. PGC copied this, Prime did not.

r.ocelot
PDI hammers are supposed to take up the entire hammer gap right? Seems like the CP hammer does the same thing. Ken Lunde? ....I owe you a +1 whenever the rep system comes back online. Edited August 19, 2007 by r.ocelot

Mathub
Sorry, when I said thinner, I meant the ring, not the width of the hammer.
