Don't worry Phoenix, we all know who started it! That pistol on the right was the Delta that was going to be sold, but n00b3r decided to have some fun and two toned it. It looks incredible with the new grips and even more polished metal. I've got pics. Just need to upload them!

cheers, hbc.

edit- i'll take some better ones tomorrow in good light.. I'm planning on making it a full two-tone model ala the Kimber Eclipse. Still needs a tightbore barrel, aftermarket trigger and hammer for it to be absolutely perfect, in my eyes at least.

That's your plain and simple MEU metal slide two toned by n00b3r. It also has your basic parts from a WA Delta with a polished hammer. The grips are those nice rubberized wrap around ones. Snagged them from ebay for about $30. Internally it's pretty much stock, though it's got borrowed parts from a MARSOC.

So it's actually quite a simple pistol! It's just got an extra touch of love.

The rubber wrap around grips are Pachmayr, correct?

Simple, but still nice.

Boomarms Raptor II custom.. pretty much the only way to get your hands on a raptor kit is through boomarms, and theyre only selling the gun as built. Since then its had aftermarket controls attached along with the sanded slide.

I'm thinking of changing the grips, the amber/black doesnt really go with silver/black of the gun itself.. if i can source some original raptor grips ill be in seventh heaven.

Now your raptor looks nice, hbc !  :)

heh, cheers, you're right though, I went totally off the all black look, I think Im gonna buy some American Legend grips if I cant source the orginal raptor ones, or perhaps some faux ivory grips.. perhaps not :P

I only sanded it yesterday so don't ask how i keep it shiny ;) it scratches pretty easily, if that happens I tend to just run some wet and dry over it a couple of times.

ive heard toothpaste works well for keeping the shine..
