Sao
I would say, no. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Definitely not, you can clearly see it doesn't in the huge colour pictures Does anyone know of a guide for the complete takedown of an airsoft M1911A1? I found one on YouTube for a WA Kimber...would it be generally the same? Yeah the kimber is pretty much the same as other WA 1911's. There is a guide on here for SCW2 takedown, think it was catman that posted it, yes, yes it was and here it is http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/inde...showtopic=59884 Edited February 6, 2007 by Sao
CplHicks
Chris ang - cheers fella. Can anyone with a BHI CQC serpa holster for 1911 tell me whether or not the bottom of the holster is closed?
uscmCorps
Chris ang - cheers fella. Can anyone with a BHI CQC serpa holster for 1911 tell me whether or not the bottom of the holster is closed? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The bottom of the holster is open.
CplHicks
Cool. Any chance of some dimensions. I want to make sure the silencer will fit.
uscmCorps
It's pretty snug in there. Basically the opening at the bottom is as wide as the width of the 1911's slide. So if your silencer is wider than the slide (which it probably is) it most likely won't fit. The CQC Serpa is basically vaccuuformed to the shape of the 1911 (basically: shrink wrapped). You're probably better off using a fabric holster if you have to have the silencer attached. That being said, do you really want to have a silenced pistol holstered? Doesn't seem very "tactical". CplHicks
Yeah true. I'll put the silencer in a pouch somewhere. I've just ordered a set of pachmayr american legends for my 1911 project.
evilhippy
How much do those Serpa CQC holsters cost, roughly?
CplHicks
There about £35 from www.uscmpro.com. If you want a lefthanded one then its the states. You can get them direct from BHI

orionw88
Really old pictures, well, kind of. They haven't changed a bit though. The SIG GSR was a n MEU at birth, got the kit installed The Delta Elite, has a shooter's design slide. Soon to get some Hogues. Once I finish my other projects. Both are SCW2. Jagdraben
You need to get some authentic SigArms GSR Rosewood or Diamondwood grips for that GSR.
CplHicks
Well i've decided against the getting another TM 1911 for the time being. Still got the american legends to go on my MARSOC. Just needs a metal slide and taclite of some sort.
Sao
That SIG looks nice, I must try to get me one of those before the VCRB comes into effect.... I should have some piccies up tonight of my ever growing collection of WA 1911's

Although, so do the Egro ones. *sigh* so much airsoft, so little money.
Lithium Jack
I say keep the fakemeyrs, they look pretty badass.
BiGSeXyFLaVoR
The WE 1911 is same as TM 1911 right? Also is there a way to change the trigger style? I like the Hi capa trigger, so would that fit onto the 1911?
CplHicks
Nope. There are some differences i think. Well i came to order my slide today for the MARSOC, Den's sight lists them in stock, but i recieved an email from them saying there outta sotck atm. If any one had a Shooters desgin slide going let me know.
1st Commando
the TM and WE 1911s look to have no differances side by side Edit - aside from mags of course ! Edited February 8, 2007 by 1st Commando
Guest
Apart from the finish on the TM will be nicer even though it's plastic and the internals will be better, no real difference...
1st Commando
tbh the quality of the internals is quite on par with the TM and both benifit from an upgraded loading nozzle as that part is a weak point on the TM 1911 and P226 and therefore tends to get copied just as weak by the clones. Once that is switched out both perform quite similar (slightly higher power output from the WE)

Once that is switched out both perform quite similar (slightly higher power output from the WE) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> the quality of the internals of a clone will never match or better that of those in the original gun. They are the same parts made to a lower QC standard. You also forgot trademarks when talking about differences between the two.
1st Commando
i thought the trademarks were obvious although WE now do a trademark version I have yet to look at one up close
