Pictured with:

Night Vision Mount

Velcro / Patches

MS-2000 IR Strobe

I replaced the stock IBH chinstrap assembly with a MICH/ACH style harness. The original harness didn't fit properly.

Another piece of "kit" for my Boat Crew Loadout.

Supply Captain has moved all the IRR stuff to the MIL/LE Only section, because of these (fairly new) export restrictions...

IRR items are much harder to find nowadays. You have to hunt around on eBay and get lucky...

Lol thanks Edmiles for the link but it's not what I'm after, its a 1"x1" IR Square.. not a flag ;)

... And they are a pain to find

Yeah I know, just thought I'd mention it as people were on the subject of the difficulty of getting IR patches etc these days and that looks virtually identical to the flags.

MICH-ESS-Norotos-front.jpg

MICH-ESS-Norotos-back.jpg

My MICH is nearing completion.

To do:

- Replace the Petzl I lost (probably gonna do with a TacTikka XP)

- Shorten the goggle retention straps a little, so the ESS strap sits lower

- Want to darken the ESS strap, stealth sleeve and the ballcap (soak in black tea I've heard?)

Non-essential:

- IR squares if I can find them

- MS2000 when I get lucky on an auction

What brand IBH is that?

Toy Soldier.

The Chin Strap that came with it sucked. I used an old MSA ACH/MICH harness I had laying around. It fits like a glove now. I love the helmet too! Its not cheap plastic like most of the IBH replica. Its made out of a glass fiber type material, and its alot more solid than my replica MICH TC-2000.

It was a good buy.
