mrk
My Protec Ace ANVIS mount + LPBP MICH chinstrap
[BS]_MARS
Did you have to drill new holes for the MICH chinstrap?
master_titled
Looks like he didn't use the original MICH chin strap screws...
mrk
Mars: No. I just needed to make those existing holes a little bit wider. Â MT: You're right I also had to buy new screws as the Protec is way thinner than the MICH so original screws wouldn't have been thight at all since they only have screw thread on the tip. Hopefully you understood what I'm saying
newhotness
Â My current Skid Lid. I've got a little bit of velcro to put on it, going to half to get a IR Flag patch. I was thinking the new Gentex green suspension, any other idea's guys, I'm all ears
Luis21
Very nice Newhotness!!! Â I'm assuming that that's a real PVS-14, right? Get a wilcox lanyard. Â Also, I have the foliage green Gentex suspension. It is extremely nice, especially if you don't want to dish out $60 for an Ops-Core H or X nape strap. Husker
Got the new helmet together. Using the "counter weight" pouch for my red rag for quick access. Â
Wrench Bender
Good idea on the dead rag..... you should rig it with a couple of pull strings so you can quick draw it, still attached at the back ans a couple of small velcro tabs to secure it up front..... just a thought...
Husker
I was going to add the tabs, but I have to wait to sew them onto the red rag. Easy to get to though, even with gloves on, if I have some problems I might add the cord. Good thought there.
gbiscuit
CVC, correct? I would love to see it on your head with some commo gear to see the proportions. Nice lid regardless, definitely unique!
Husker
That is correct! When I get the rest of the com gear together I will toss a complete pic up.

Vercingetorix
Question for all you helmut guys, Looking at getting a Protec Alpha from TNVC w/ OPS-Core VAS(too cheap for a proper mich, and they are to heavy and bulky for my needs anyway), but will the Ops-Çore OCC-Dial Liner kit thing work with it?
ThaFlash
Send an email to TNVC, they're really fast with their replies.

The Crunchy Bunny
Thats one of the new ACM TC-2001's right? How is it?
boomheadshot (infidel)
Thats one of the new ACM TC-2001's right? How is it? Â Better than i expected the Velcro its abit wonky so i just trimmed it and put it in the right place, the pads are also better than i expected but i replaced the foam as there was not quite enough suspension in there and it created a pressure point on the crown of my head but ive sorted that now, the straps are okay but there abit of a *badgeress* to sort out and the clips are only plastic, the mount is solid and looks pritty good as well, all in all for the price its a good buy, i hope to buy a new strap and pads for it in the future but for now it does the job good enuff (which is never enough for a geardo) . The Crunchy Bunny
Cool. I'll have to pick one up.
jonarthur
might sound like a stupid question to you guys.. Â do lip lights only work with NVG ? or can you use them as a standard light ? ( i dont use nvgs) Â or is it better to get a SF HL1 replica ?
msx361
The liplight can be bought in different colours as can the HL1
uscmCorps
By far the most comfortable and secure helmet I have ever owned. I'm also super impressed by the Sordins. Incredibly more clear and nicer than my Peltors. Such an awesome investment.
greensta
you know what CORPS...just take your helmet and your sordins and just....just....just....WHAT EVER!!!!! Â *can you smell the jealousy*. Lovely helmet dude, the ops core straps are awesome. I have a pair of TCI liberator 2's (rebranded, tweaked sordins) and they are great, very good investment!!! Though with the sound amplification it can be like cheating sometimes in game. Â Â
