justin.kovacs
Whats up with that paintjob? Is that supposed to be camo of some sort? Edited May 20, 2008 by justin.kovacs
PlasticMag
Nope, I just wanted something to break up the shape. I found that the 'dome' is really noticeable. This way, less so.
justin.kovacs
Did you use some sort of chicken wire for the "stenciling"? It looks pretty hawt! Â Its a cool design, just not what you'd expect on a helmet for wargaming.
PlasticMag
Yeah, it's actually old scrim netting I found. Â Everything on the helmet has a purpose. Strobe for night games (and has a shock cord w/ cord lock inside helmet, can be popped off super fast) Headset for comms NVG mount plate for... my monocular (it's just a little unsturdy) Â No froo-froo. Radrockin
Looks unique Plastic mag and I like how it fades. How do you utilize your strobe for night ops? what role does it play in your kit?     Rad
PlasticMag
I've got IR and blue filters for it, used primarily for target identification (i.e. - pop it off, slap IR filter on, turn it on, chuck it at a building: 'Hit that one") or for locating (again, with IR filter on, and when the other team lacks NODs). Â There are night games here locally every so often, I'll try to get some night photos at one to show off how it's all designed to go together.
