pforcerecon
Very nice Shash..how comfortable is the fit with the Comtac I's under there. A friend of mine has had problems fitting his under his helmet, although I'm not sure which helmet he's even using.
masakarijoe
Instead of ALICE clips use plastic zipties. They won't make noise and they weight nothing. but what will i do when i need to reverse my helmet cover to the green side? what if i want to remove my goggles completely? therefore, i use alice clips. -Joe
shash
Masakarijoe, do you reverse our helemt cover ten times a day? No, zipties are chip and you can have plenty of them. If you want to remove goggles it's easier to unassemble google strap from one side of eyewear frame. Pforcerecon, Comtac I headset fits well. I don't have any problems, it's very comfortable - it just needed to reconfigure the pads.

shash
why-do-you-have-to-use-so-much-dashes? No, I'm not going to do any impressions - I just use it.

PLUS, i like how i can just remove the goggles (if the place im attending does not require full seal eye pro) and replace them if necessary without disassembling them from the side. its MY choice, and MY preference. everyone here thinks they can tell another person what to do... well i wont stand for it. im sticking with alice clips. thanks, but no thanks -Joe
Mr. Jon
why-do-you-have-to-use-so-much-dashes? why do you have to "use so much" critisism and telling people what to do with their gear, especially joe.

Arnie_o
Shash How do you find the OPS CORE X Harness mate? have fancies one myself, but wasnt sure on the stability they provide. Though they look more comfertable than the standard H Harness
medic23
i got one of the ops core x harness on my issue ach im currently using and it kicks the shi* outta the issue harnesses, only downside is having to clean it every 3 days to prevent my face from breaking out (collects sweat & iraq grime a bit too easy)
shash
I have to say they are much more stable than MSA harness I was using earlier. Helemt is not moving in any way. Remember I have X-harness which will provide more stable platform than every H-harness.
Arnie_o
Shash, is it a genuine or replica MICH your using? what type of pads replica or real deal? also have you tried it with Nv mounted to the front... if you have some? Sorry for all the questions
medic23
arnie-o it is extremely more stable with NOD's on than with the h-harness
shash
Arnie, I am using MSA helmet with newest version of MSA pads inside. I haven't used this setup with NOD's as I am waiting for shroud (helemt was already pre-drilled for 3 point mount). It's more stable right now and I think it will also work better with NVG mounted. Robinio
Hey a question, is the norotos NVG mount on Ebaybanned safe to put on an nvg, or is it just a cheap plastic dummy? http://ebaybanned.com/product_info.php?cPa...roducts_id=1777
Titleist
I would say no. I barely trust my real NVG on my real Norotos unless heavily paracorded as a backup. I wouldn't trust that repro at all.
Arnie_o
Hey Tomo whats with the bungee around the lid mate?
Titleist
It secures the ANVIS mount to the helmet, the ANVIS mounts are notoriously shoddy. And you don't want one dropping to the ground. Which is why you routinely see NVGs lanyarded or double secured to a helmet.
