just to let you know, this question has been asked a million times, and searching would have gotten you plenty of results. next time try searching, it will save you alot of ill-tempered responses from the people around here.

but to answer your question anyway, the CA is better. The body is stronger and nicer, and it has steel gears and bushings, as opposed to marui's splatic bushings and cheap pot-metal gears. spend the few extra bucks and buy the CA, you will be glad you did when you see it next to someone's TM.

I have searched before i put in the new thread there is nothing specific about these two weapons, example put 'classic army g36c' just in the general discussion part and you get 26 pages of posts that dont read as what i am asking about.

Thanks for you comparison i have heard differant opinions on the two but i wonder if people have the same opinions or prefer one over the other.

Well, since you said you searched, I will help you out.

There is really no difference. They are the same gun, same thing.

Comparisons:

"Classic Army CA36c"

1) Single matte body color

2) Higher stock FPS (NOT factory upgraded. Thats a lie)

3) Slightly stronger body (won't make a difference)

"Marui G36c"

1) Somewhat of a difference between parts when it comes to color.

(ie. The Magwell, motorgrip/trigger selector area, and foregrip are all gloss black and the body is more of a matte dark grey)

2) FPS is slightly less

3) Body will stand up to anything that you can throw at it. CA just have a mixture closer to the real thing when it comes to texture

4) Marui actually have the actual trademarks. These are very attractive. The CA gun have "Classic Army" written where the H&K trades should be..

I would go for the Marui. There are more upgrade kits for it, Marui has a good track record of QC (quality control), and it is much cheaper. The CA is more expensive, harder to upgrade, and CA have had a lot of trouble in the past with their gearboxes (although these problems seem to be diminished, if not entirely eraticated)

Marui is just the better choice in my opinion.

Cheers,

~P

Well, Staticzero, wouldn't you suggets the Marui as a more friendly gun to a newer player? (which I'm assuming the OP is because he doesn't seem to know much about the difference in the guns?

My opinion still stands with the Marui. Its proven and cheaper. The CA is good, but they can be a bit of trouble sometimes if you don't know what you're doing...(which the OP might or might not...)

As has been said, there have been a lot of threads on this topic, or topics similar to it.

More where that came from if you search.

There is also a review of each on this site:

TM http://arniesairsoft.co.uk/?filnavn=/revie...g36c_review.htm

CA http://arniesairsoft.co.uk/?filnavn=/revie...36c_review1.htm

There are a few on CA36s in the database too:

http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/reviewpost/...2/cat/16/page/1

http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/reviewpost/...2/cat/16/page/1

Short answer: Get the CA.

If you have a question not covered in the infomration above (which would be surprising) then by all means ask.

That should put an end to this thread. :)
