cjfield1129
Has anyone replaced the cocking lever bolt (pull back lever) on their Star L85. Mine seems to be coming loose and I'm considering replacing it with the A1 type as seen here: http://www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper.php?i...-L8502_srch_l85
Little para
Well that would look wrong seeing as it has all the A2 features, mag release cover etc.. but if you wanted to replace it it would be a ######. L85s aint easy to break open.
fnfr3ger
wow , no piccies of the army R85 here.. i honestly expected that a lot of proud owners would post pics of it in here but i guess i was wrong..
lewis hiscock
btw the blowback on the g&g a2 seems to work just fine for me ive fired 2000+ rounds with no problem whatsoever. Edited July 15, 2007 by lewis hiscock
Little para
a few thousand more and Boom, yes thats the sound of your blowback unit falling into your gearbox.
msx361
Not many ppl have the R85's yet and give the G&G a little longer, 2000rds is nothing
Terror Of Heaven
Got my Army R85 on wednesday, Overall i am impressed by it..except the cocking handle fell off Sorry about the crappy pics, was a bit hungover when i took them and havent really got round to taking anymore because i was at RIAT today. Subb0
How did it fall off? is it easy to get back on? It would be great if you could get some more pics as I'm waiting for stock on r85 and want to get info on it.
Terror Of Heaven
It fell off after about half an hour of me pulling it and the blowback mechanism going. Stock power and ROF seem quite good and even better when i tried it with a 9.6v battery (wouldnt advise running it in a game with that battery though). Have tried to dissconnect the blowback, it has stopped working but the mechanism is still 'squeaking' when the gun fires. Need to take a proper look. Well worth the money though. Build quality is really good, no creaks or rattles. The only thing i would suggest is putting a bigger screw into the grip to stop it moving. Hope that helps you
Subb0
Why is the grip a little loose? Sure does thanks. am I going have many probs with blow back? just need to wait for airsoft scotland tog et em in now
lewis hiscock
another of my g&g a2 well it will be a little strange if the blowback hook falls into the gearbox considering the gearbox on the A2 doesnt have the gapeing hole in the top that the a1 had. im up to 4500 rounds with no blowback problems Edited July 18, 2007 by lewis hiscock
