bellyisking
I know the owners of the G&G and the AA variation are a small niche in the market at the moment, but just out of curiosity how many people are sick of waiting for after sales parts for the G&G l85's? It been about 9 month since G&G launched theres, more to the point what manufacture could be persuaded in to making say a UGL for them or even a susat where we don't have to mod the original rail? msx361
I just took mine off this morning, trying to change the batter in the field is just silly. Plus i found it hard to aim with when it was on. Â Anyone else have that problem or is it just me?
TerranCmdr
That's gotta weigh a metric ton with that grenade launcher on there... I know those STARs are pretty hefty to begin with.
aswaffield
yeh i took mine of not and put it back into box over a month ago ,it did weight you down and for some reason i thought the mini battery wasnt any good compared with my 3300 battery  so my gun now !

Little para
If it is the STAR i thin k he means he has stripped it, it strips like the real thing, knock the 2 pins on the bod out and slide the shoulder res out and you have the spring and working parts.
msx361
Not quite, you just take out the two pins and it slides apart.  You have to cut bits of the hop support out and not put a few screws in. Pretty easy to do actually.  Your going to have to copy and paste this into the address bar remove the spaces between the / and star  http://www.airsoftcommunity.co.uk/forums/ Star-SA80-field-strippable-project-t85239.html Edited August 3, 2007 by msx361

Its held together with half a million screws, as well as the TMH pins   Cheers msx361, I'll have to try that guide out sometime
msx361
NP ive been wanting to do it myself, but i need to get round to ordering some connectors for the wire. I keep forgetting about it every time i do a HK order

Little para
Oh ok i was wrong, my brother has had his fixed by Z1, the cocking lever sticks back and does'nt fly forward but it strips like the real thing, i just thought it was the way it was made. Ah well you learn something new everyday.  Cheers
