I once wrote a little app that listed off all the files on all local drives, saying "deleted", and building and deleting a temp text file to thrash the disk. Otherwise, it didn't actually do anything. And you couldn't stop it. If you clicked the X or tried to close the window it would mock you; If you tried various other things like clicking on it a lot or bashing keys it would disable your mouse and keyboard, respectively. And it could cancel Windows shutdowns. Back in the Win9x days it was possible to code an app so that the OS could not close it. Alas, WinNT and above take more control over running apps and you can force any process to close. Ah, I had fun with that one anyway, sending it to various enemies over AIM.
