R22Master
ICS have got two new offerings for us.... The M16A1-RIS (not sure where they're going with this as even they seem to be mixing it up with the M4)! The AK74M (at prototype stage, but on its way soon) Apparently they've also improved their BB production process for greater accuracy. I find their existing ones to be excellent, so I have high hopes for the new ones
Antagon
I don't get it...looks like an M4...I don't see an A1 anywhere.
IronWolf
I like thw ak74m, i hope the mags will be interchangable with the TM model
MAKKOO
They are not calling it M16A1-RIS but a shortened variant of the M16A1 rifle. At the beggining of the paragraph they refer to it as M4A1 RIS
R22Master
Yup. Hence... The M16A1-RIS (not sure where they're going with this as even they seem to be mixing it up with the M4)! If the manufacturer can't make uptheir mind whether it's an M16 or an M4, how can we be expected to?
MAKKOO
Well actually I notice at the beggining of the page they call it "M16A1 RIS", then they change to "A shortened variant of the M16A2 rifle" and finally "M4A1 carbine "... just a little bit confusing... I wonder how is taking care of translating their page from chinese to english...
MAKKOO
Actually is none of the above... it's suppose to be an Olympic Arms "CAR-97 M-4"
Lord_Satorious
Finally, a AK-74! I've been waiting for one of those for a long time. As long as it's compatible with G&P standard mags (mid-caps), I don't care about anything else.
rhino
Well why don't they just call it an Armalite or something?
Tripod
because it isn't an Armalite. It's Olympic Arms. CA makes Armalites, TM makes Colts.
Stayin Classy
I'm all for the Ak variant, (GOd know's there enough armalite ones out there ).
ratman
Heck yeah. Bout time someone makes a nice AK. The TM one is pretty good, but Why On Earth are there so many little parts to it? This one looks nice and simple. Gotta love the cocking mechanism. Gotta love full metal. Gotta love the AK-74M! I hope that in the final version the receiver has all the proper markings. It would be nice if the stock were folding too, but I doubt that will be happening, since they im sure they dont want wires being exposed.
IronWolf
WGC now has the "ICS M4A1 R.I.S" in stock by the looks of it
nmcabecadas
I hope that in the final version the receiver has all the proper markings. The AK-74M have a little more than the triagle and arrow from the Izevhsk plant, the serial number and the fire selector instructions. No real trademarks as we are used in the West. counterassasin
But ICS has forgotten the two "holes" in the receiver, right above the magazine. Without them the gun is no AK74...
nmcabecadas
It seems a prototype, but there are real non-soviet AK's with stamped receiver without these holes.
HaVoC
To increase your shooting accuracy, ICS has developed a brand new special grind BB machine. ICS makes every single BB through (grind, burnish, and wax) complicated procedures. Therefore, every single BB maintains the accuracy of + - 0.02mm and the surface is shine and bright. Never get jammed, smooth shooting, increase your shooting accuracy, ICS¡¦s BB is your Best choice! Heh...Engrish funny is very makes me laaugh does it am! Yes! Ahem - The RIS looks nice but my god how many Armalite-series guns do you need?! The AK, on the other hand, looks SWEET. I can't wait - maybe I'll end up getting an AK after all! BadAssTronaut
R.I.S, BHAH! My ICS am teh got teh S.I.R, mwuhaahaahaa! Could have done with this a little while ago since I needed some sort of R.I.S/R.A.S/S.I.R on my ICS M4. Would have shaved having to buy an aftermarket R.I.S, Oh well.
