Its a WGC M16 A1 and i just put the old marui 203 on for pics. I must have a G&P version. snorkelman Posted June 9, 2006 Report Share Posted June 9, 2006 I do love my impusle buys ..course 9 times out of ten they end up a complete disaster but such is life this one was from stock clearance from an italian model shop where it must have sat since new Frustrating thing is there must be hundreds of now rareand odball low/mid price guns sat out there gathering dust in old shops never to see the light of day till the owner eventually pops his clogs or the shop goes under. Damn shame been a good week started it off with finding a full auto gas NBB firing mech that fits inside an AEG gearbox shell (that I didnt realise I even had!) Managed to snag the escort MP5 for 300 and something quid shipped, got a mate to agree to rattle off the control circuit for the gas firing mech thingy for cost of a pint and the parts, then landed this littles scorpion this morning ...I might have to put a lottery ticket on tonight Link to post Share on other sites
snorkelman Posted June 9, 2006 Report Share Posted June 9, 2006 hehe now the Stti one is crazy full auto like the auto cylinder thing ive got knocking around (just the STTI cylinder is a teeny bit smaller so doesnt really need the mechbox machined at all to drop fit into an AEG box). The KHC is more your standard double action NBB so should hopefully silence quite nicely I emailed STTi about their old auto ones but got usual 'mould broken no longer making would you like the springer' response Link to post Share on other sites

Jetboil gas stove. Holy cr*p this thing is FIERCE! All packs away into that cup, and I timed it boiling 500ml of water in 75s, which is just under half the time taken for the same feat on my old gas stove (I timed them both side-by-side). Snugpak Softie Elite 2 sleeping bag. Because I need one, and this is good Meindl Desert Fox boots. Because I wanted some higher boots, possibly desert ones, and these are comfy as hell and good looking to boot. They don't appear to need any breaking in at all. The real Aimpoint has only the lower writing in white, with 'Aimpoint' etched above (rather than painted in white).
