Jaager
I know the AG36 is H&K, what i was refering to was this: http://www.coltcanada.com/eagle-page.htm Colt canada EAGLE 40mm grenade launcher basicly same as the AG36, it would make more sense to have one of these on a Colt canada rifle than a H&K launcher
Misfit
oic, could be that for all I know. It's got the same shape.
Skarclaw
Its an AG36, if its rail mounted, its AGC. Its not the Eagle one.
Kipper
Its neither a C7 or C8 gentlemen Its a diemaco SFW, aka the L119A1 Its different in that it has a longer barrel, 15.8" rather than the usual 14.5" as seen on the average M4 It is also fitted with a KAC RAS system, the grenade launcher i cant comment on Edited November 3, 2006 by Kipper
PariahWolf
The launcher is definitely HK, it was adopted the same time as the UGL.

Jagdraben
i thought it was C7s with 203s rather than the Canadian AG36 thingy, it used to be M16a2s with m203s, but canadian guns may be better than yank <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Diemaco Armalites are better than Colt Armalites, at least according to the vast majority of Western nations, who prefer to get their Armalites from Diemaco, rather than Colt or any other American firm. Kipper
Is STABO that thing where a group of like 6 guys hang down from a rope under a heli and get flown in? Or am i thinking of something else? And diemaco are no more btw lads, they were bought out by colt sometime last year, so theyre colt canada now, but still make the same guns

Godofwar
Is STABO that thing where a group of like 6 guys hang down from a rope under a heli and get flown in? Or am i thinking of something else? The STABO extraction was developed and built by SGM McGuire, SFC Clifford Roberts and other members of Project Delta to quickly lift an individual from the jungle by helicopter. and tested by the 145th Aviation Platoon During the Vietnam war the STABO was a means of quick extraction where the landing of a helicopter was not possible. Ropes were lowered from the helicopter, then attached to the D-rings on the STABO -- and the operative was effectively yanked from the jungle, suspended by the ropes to an area where the helicopter could safely land. Naturally, this was an exceedingly dangerous means of extraction -- but often preferable to the alternative of staying on the ground under enemy fire. The operators are free to use their weapons unlike the older Mcguire Rig where you have to hold on to it.

SPIE is basically the modern equivalent. I snagged a SPIE rig off eBay for $25 recently, and it allows you to have multiple people connected to a rope. STABO has two points of contact (both shoulders) SPIE has one (strap coming from back). STABO also allows a belt to be weaved through it, meaning you dont have to wear a whole seperate harness for your web gear.
Marine47
As I'm looking through here...i notice many British folks with American uniforms (flags, usmc stuff, US army stuff) Why is that? Are they easier to find? Arent you guys were mostly anti-america..?

PariahWolf
Cos your gear is more suited to airsoft. It allows you to carry more mags than British kit normally does. Flags and such are just finishing touches. Also it stands out abit more from the crowd of DPM.
Marine47
That works. Thanks, and i didn't mean to offend anyone by stereotyping people. I was just wondering.
