I kind of need one by saturday. Procrastinate, my speciality.
Jagdraben
Jagdraben - very nice "balcava" Where you got it? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It's an UnderArmor HeatGear hood. I don't remember where I got mine from to be honest... and of the few retailers that carry them, I can only think of USCav which only has them in Black and Desert Tan. Finding an OD one in the first place wasn't easy. Hopefully a search will turn something up.

Jagdraben
UnderArmor doesn't sell them... do they? They didn't when I ordered mine last Summer....
bigbaby
http://www.underarmour.com/ProductDetail.c...0&pf_id=8000281 But they are outta stock. The weird thing is, I went to there official store in a mall, and I asked them if they had any of the hoods in stock. They were like WTF are you talking about.
Kingmob3
Keep in mind that it is a civilian retail store, most places are like that. I emailed Source, and the person I got dident even know they had a military division! KM
Husky
yea but those hoods are also made for athletics. baseball players wear them in the cold
Jagdraben
Thems would be the ColdGear hoods... and their athletic line ColdGear hoods are subtlely different than their tactical line ColdGear hoods.
Little para
This is the gear i tend to use at the moment as my AK is out of action. I have also posted some other pictures in the WW2 thread. Its pretty comfortable and i can move my pouches and spade(if needed) around to anywhere, the boots are the only bad part, last skirmish the heel came apart on my left boot and i had to have it glued back on. Everything else is good and im happy with it, only complaint i have is when a BB hits the helmet you dont half have a bloody ringing in your ears. Cheers guys.
HaVoC
I'd really lose the 101st patches, man. You didn't earn them (at least, I guess you didn't!) and it's kinda bad form. Besides that, I like the look. Almost makes me want my Thompson back.

If he was in modern day gear and still had the Screaming Eagle, then they're might be a problem.
HaVoC
Depends how you look at it. It's not a big deal to me, but I don't think I'd do it personally, even in re-enactment. Meh, each to their own.

suicidalsnowman
The vest does look really cool, but it costs £320, he seems to have closed mag pouches in development on his site.

If he was in modern day gear and still had the Screaming Eagle, then they're might be a problem. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Thats the reason i got the gear, i used to have para gear and i thought it wrong of me to wear it as i had not earned the right to wear them.I dont think there is a problemwith me wearing my WW2 Airbone gear, plenty of veterans go to war and peace in kent, they even had the real people they based band of brothers flown in especially, im sure they would be happy fo people to reenact what it was like. HaVoC
If the real guys don't have a problem with it then I can't see an issue You going to Beltring again this year, man? Looks like a few of us will be down there this year as Living History guys.
Little para
Ill be going to war and peace this year, no reenactments just going to buy a few things, me and a mate are going airborne, itll be hot as hell though.
Calico
The "Don't wear the patches!?!?!" has been done to death, if you want to wear patches wear them with respect, wear the correct kit & dont act like a cnut. Imitation is the highest form of flattery.
