HaVoC
Nice HaV, but your medic pouch should be in a more accesible position, but that's my opinion. The idea tends to be to let your team-mates get to them, judging by most of the photos I've seen. For me, it's something I'm barely going to use. If I need to use it desperately, the game's going to be stopped so I can take my vest off. If I don't need it urgently (Hayfever tabs or something) then someone else can get them out for me. Round the back, it's out of the way and leaves more room for stuff I need

Nessie
This thread needs more Russian gear: Pictured is: A 1-piece KLMK covered with a Flora jacket, 3L Thermobak, a web belt, a Splav 4-cell AK magazine pouch in OD, an ANA maska in Kamysh, a Flora Boonie, and a modified TM AK-47 with an SKS sling. My photoshop-fu am t3h suxx0rz. Edit: fixed pic. Edited June 1, 2006 by Nessie
HaVoC
That 1-piece thing looks HILARIOUSLY like a skirt. Not in a bad way, particularly, but more because I've never seen one before, I'd imagine. What's the idea, though? Isn't it so baggy it snags on everything?
CapaciousZepher
Is it just me or does it look like you are in your PJs? As Havoc says it may be just because I haven't seen that stuff before. Cheers! - CapaciousZepher
PlasticMag
It's an oversuit called a KLMK. Originally worn by Russian VDV paratroopers in Afghanistan to cover up their Afghanka uniforms for a bit of camouflage. It's VERY effective, especially since it really messes with how the eye perceives the human form. Plus, it blends in well with grass. Interesting mix, Nessie. I need to get a photo of me up soon. No Trace 13
hey peeps. just wondering if any snipers out there would post some pics of their loadouts and rig setups, taking on a sniper role for my team and just wanted to get some ideas on peeps "high speed low drag" loadouts cheers NoTrace
CapaciousZepher
You may want to look in the Snipers Perch thread. However I don't know of any sniper that opperates at "high speed" And gillie's which aren't absolutely necessary but help tremendously are hardly "low drag". Catch22
It is a very effective camo in the right terrain. Also for those that haven't seen it. They used a version of it in Red Dawn. (made just for the movie)

It works very well in the UK during the spring I have heard. Since you guys all love KLMK, here's another pic:

trfo2o
Hey ubar great loadout man. I have some suggestions if you don't mind. Try getting good at spray painting so you can try replicating real german special forces weapons in Iraq and Afghanistan(even though there are plenty who keep their guns black). here's links to german special forces: http://media.militaryphotos.net/photos/All...Germany/a_ksk02 http://www.specwarfare.it/sito/reparti/str...ksk_team_02.jpg http://media.militaryphotos.net/photos/alb...vee_closeup.jpg http://www.spezialeinheiten.net/Bilder/KSK/ksk_new.jpg http://www.spezialeinheiten.net/Bilder/KSK/ksk_7.jpg
Skarclaw
Erm, the loadout looks like the ones in this album: http://media.militaryphotos.net/photos/Ger...ISAF_contingent more then KSK, I don't see any sprayed weapons in that album.
