HaVoC
Funny, I've never washed my BDU's that I can recall <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You would if you wore a CIRAS for a day, trust me
Titleist
Does the CIRAS suck up stink that much? I have the real CIRAS on its way, so I should be warned ahead of time in case of possible stankiness.
HaVoC
The CIRAS itself doesn't, no. The shirt under it, though, was SOAKED THROUGH at the end of yesterday. I was wearing a loose Underarmour shirt underneath, so that might not have helped the shirt (it didn't really help me, either ), but I could almost have wrung out the BDU shirt. The mesh on the inside of the CIRAS doesn't help, either. Just to warn you
Titleist
Note to self: Don't stink, sweat, or make CIRAS grosse.
doc_newstead
You should smell the headstrap on my Bowman. It's like 3-day old underwear.

Titleist
nice, that's funny since I'm getting the Cobra headset, same setup to the bowman actually, I better remember to clean that headstrap. Can those headstraps be washed?

Can those headstraps be washed? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Unless it says 'Dry Clean Only', I should think it'll take a washing Cobra headset you say? How much and where from? I must say, I do find the strap-method of headset rather awful. It wobbles all over the place, and the straps slip down a lot. I'd rather have rigid arrangement, like ComTacs or something
Titleist
http://www.swatheadsets.com/tactical/cobra/cobra.html They're about 650 for the full PTT setup. Right now I'm debating the Cobra, the TCI Liberator II, or the Atlantic Signal MH3. The LIB2 looks awesome, but it looks like I should be an aircraft controll tower guy with those bulky things on. doc_newstead
Bargain It does look like a Bowman headset though, I see what you mean. /bins Bowman headset
Titleist
Doc, think the Cobra is worth ponying up the dough for? Or TCI Liberator 2?

Soba
I was thinking of spray painting the cantilever mount OD? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That's a good looking setup you've got going. As far as spray painting the mount I'd say photoshop it just to give you an idea of how it would look. I'd photoshop it for you now but I've got to get back to work . -Soba
