Sarge133
What vest is that Echo? I want to get one like that when I start making my ACU loadout (just baught the shirt and pants off ebay)
ghost_x3
Looks like a Condor Plate Carrier.
Sarge133
Dang, was hoping it was something cheaper. I really hate being poor.
Echo
Looks like a Condor Plate Carrier. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Â Â That would be it, but it is re-branded by Airsoft GI as OE Tech, it's a very nice carrier. Nice feel to it, it's $70 at ASGI.
Sarge133
Ah, still to rich for my blood, I need something that comes with atleast ammo pouches, I dont like having to buy pouches after buying the vest. Â Would this be any good? I am thinking about getting one of these for both my woodland and ACU loads. Clicky! Edited January 22, 2007 by Sarge133
[BS]_MARS
No, that is terrible. Do not buy that.
Sarge133
How or why is it bad?
mremerica
Well for a start, surely if you are worried about $70 vest, why then buy a unbranded $29.99 vest with $35 shipping which comes to $65... you may aswell splash out the extra $5 for a decent one (plus say $15 for shipping). Thats my logic anyway!
Sarge133
Its not the fact that I have to spend $70 on a vest, its the fact that after buying the good one I still have pouches to buy.
mremerica
Ah well, just do what I do (Im a poor student...). Buy the vest and then carry on using what you have at the moment and buy pouches bit by bit. It will be much more satisfying than just getting a cheap knock off. Ive just ordered my new Eagle PC in CB and some Eagle 5.56 pouches but the rest of them are going to have to wait, but I know it will be more satisfying than buying a replica! Just my logic anyway, at the end of the day it's your call!
Light Fighter
In airsoft, you get what you pay for. Cheap out on the vest, and it will cheap out on you. A guy at my local sight has one, the thing looks like its about to fall apart.
ECRRRainman
I've been looking this vest over for quite a while now and I can't tell if it is an IBA or not, the picture isn't the best. either way it looks to be a decent deal for what you get for the cost, have a look  Link
ruvon
I had the ACU maritime vest. I should have gotten what I have now, my SO Tech Hellkat mk1. The Ciras started falling apart as soon as I got out in it, I was highly disappointed. Â Tis true, you get what you pay for.
tomster
I've been looking this vest over for quite a while now and I can't tell if it is an IBA or not, the picture isn't the best. either way it looks to be a decent deal for what you get for the cost, have a look  Link <{POST_SNAPBACK}>  Yeah that looks like an IBA/OTV cover, replica of a newer model too because it has extra PALS on the front and all over the back too (according to the description). But for that price you could get real cover on ebay (maybe minus all the extras like collar/yoke - arm - groin - throat protectors etc.).
Light Fighter
It looks like a decent replica of the ACU cover, although it is still missing a couple of things up front. Depending on the size, I've seen acu cover go for as little at $100 USD.
ECRRRainman
I did notice it was missing the velcro for the name tape and rank. I just only wish they listed pics of the other parts that come with it.
Light Fighter
Actually, it looks like it has the velcro for the nametape, but no spot for rank. It looks good, but just seems to look a little off. Dont know why exactly.
Light Fighter
Dont know if I ever posted this here, but it fits the thread, so.

Sarge133
How did you get that shoulder armor? Very nice job btw. the Woodland codpiece does stand out alittle though.
Light Fighter
I got the shoulder armor off a friend who got out of the Army back in November. When he gave bakc all the stuff they issued him he was still left with a bag full of stuff that he accumulated while in the Army, the DAPs, the neck collar and the FLC were just a couple of things left in his bag. Yea, the woodland groin piece stands out, just waiting to find an ACU one with the soft armor inserts.
ARadam6696
Â Just a small game. As you can tell ACU's dont work too well in the winter.
