buzzsaw
Many thanks guys. Shame it's not commercially avaliable. Now I gotta find something that looks like it!
KTcerberus
BLACKHAWK! makes a cutaway vest that uses IBA soft inserts and looks pretty cool. It takes SAPI plates too. http://www.rangerjoes.com/blackhawk-vest-c...otv-p-3441.html
The Crunchy Bunny
... I demand a name-change from "The Crunchy Bunny" to "McLovin." Working on that.
m98man
Making a hydration cover today, just using some old black terrycloth we had lying around. Yeah, it is mostly to show off my vest (Just got it, Proud CB CIRAS) but I put my ACU on anyway.
[BS]_MARS
Where are your shoulder pads?
Rattler
Well, I am starting to work a US Army SF impression, this is only the beginning of it, but I like it so far... Note: This is a cold-weather patrol loadout, hence the hat. Also, please don't start with the finger on the trigger, I MEANT to have it on the trigger, these are action shots. The photo room was clearand safe and myself along with the cameraman were wearing eye protection. Thanks Rattler
Light Fighter
Why dont your ACU's have the IFF tabs Rattler? Edited December 30, 2007 by Light Fighter
Sarge133
Buying ACUs online. My propper ACUs do not have IFFs either.
Light Fighter
Got bored. My rig set up as of right now. Pretty comfy considering all the PPE I have attached to the IBA. -Oakleys only on the vest for cool guy factor -
m98man
Where are your shoulder pads? forgot to put em on midway thru assembly, and now they dont' quite have enough space to fit on without me adjusting everything, so I figured what the hell, it isn't worth it. I'm not carrying enough weight to justify having them on. I might have to put them on if we go to a 24hr or more game.
Soba
So who is on board with me on the wearing of your name tapes on your arm? -Soba
Belladonna
looks like they could easily pull off the way they overhang... R
Light Fighter
A couple of us did that at drill one weekend. We are all now a couple patches short. If you wear them on your arm I'd suggest cutting them down if at all possible so they fit flush with your arm pocket. But thats just me though.

I don't know how many times I've bumped into another soldier and ended up missing my flag or grabbing sombody elses. I usually use one of the IR flags in the field, either full color or subdued and they stick better. My unit patch on the other hand doesn't have and IR equivalent and gets torn up and snagged on all the flora. Edited December 31, 2007 by KTcerberus
ssddismymotto
the pants are SO big on me.
SlappyBag
the pants are SO big on me. I brought some mediums off of Flecktarn and the waist band is twice the size of me, its crazy. I also like the idea of wearing your name on your arm, but it sounds like it'll snag off easily. Sorry, there's just something so ugly about you two not matching better. Unless it matches another loadout of yours, in which case I understand...
Devilpupone
Medic, would you please post your kitlist please. Its absolutely outstanding too. Great job. Is there a specific unit you were going for?
