Minds
some ACU attempt
KTcerberus
Heres an ugly picture of my vest just thrown on the floor. The big pouch and the smoke pouches for my tornadoes will be moved as soon as my back ordered ACU dump pouches show up...
Unit 318
Damn Cerberus, that is hot...
KTcerberus
Thanks! I'm still trying to get it dirty but no luck finding a mud puddle on my field yet. I'd post a kit list but it would be pretty long. Edited January 29, 2009 by KTcerberus
darkchild130
Cerberus, if my plans for an ACU loadout hadn't died with the failure of my ACS not arriving i would like a rig like yours. Â Its pretty awesome. Â Darkchild
KTcerberus
Thanks, I ordered my ACS directly through Massif. I'm not sure if its possible for other to do so though. They may have only done it because of my .mil email. They even asked me if it fit right when they showed up and asked me to fill out some customer service reports... Â Anyways I went by the local airsoft shop and the lady running the place tells me that since I came back from Iraq ACU has slowly eclipsed everything including multicam in number of purchases for pouches, vests and uniforms. HaVoC
There are a few odd ACS available on eBay at the moment, aren't there? Price is steep, though. I don't think they're available from Massiff unless you have MIL ID. Â I was lucky enough to get mine off an American guy at War & Peace last year - I guess it either 'slipped through a crack' in the supply system, or he bought it himself and then decided to sell it after his deployment or whatever. Â I still reckon they're great shirts, though. If you have the chance of getting one, go for it.
KTcerberus
I agree, awesome shirts but they have a funny smell that I can't get rid of. They offer very little in the way of BB protection though. CQB games hurt like hell because they are so thin.
HaVoC
Not noticed the smell but I'll have a whiff when I go home tomorrow and see what I can pick up on (sweat, most likely, ugh). Not looking forward to running it in an urban game in February now, though! Â I noticed two things on the Massif site: Â 1 - "Only available for members of the U.S. Military" - so there you have it 2 - No more ARMY STRONG logo, officially (screw press releases) - awesome, if not actually that big a deal
ISAAC
I have noticed the smell it reminds me of a hospital smell.
darkchild130
Well i did pay a member of the forums to procure one for me and post it over seas but unfortunately he couldnt get it and he gave me my money back instead  Darkchild
HaVoC
I went home and forgot to smell the shirt. Damn it! Â Â Â EDIT: Weirdest thing I ever typed on an internet forum. Edited February 1, 2009 by HaVoC

Hispeed1
Finally posted pics of Ebaybanned's replica Massif ACU combat shirt. Sad to say its in urban digital and not ACU. I should have done a side-by-side shot. The material, stitching, pockets are good. The sizing is just right/bit iffy. I'm a medium/regular and their medium size is just right for me compared to real issue ACU which has a little bit of play. But that's how BDU's are when they come from HK/CN: Â @ Havoc: "Superstar..." (Quote from SNL skit) Edited February 3, 2009 by Hispeed1

Hispeed1
Nice SLO-MAR! EBB now has a replica Massif ACS I just saw it now. But of course the color is still a little off.
SLO-MAR
one of my AirForce buddies was attached on his last tour so i got lucky ,exept that i wear a size Small or Medium oh well still worth it
HaVoC
To be honest I roll a medium ACU shirt, and a large ACS fits me great. I reckon you need to go a size up.
medic23
http://ebairsoft.com/product_info.php?prod...a0d33eb80bb4783 Â linky to affore mentioned ACS
HaVoC
I'll be honest - the thought of hundreds of geeky overweight airsofters waddling around the safezone in ACSs (replica or not) is frankly terrifying... Â I'm not professing to having a ripped body either (or not being geeky), but damn people, at least keep your armour on over it, please. And if your man-boobs are being squeezed around the side of your armour, then you have bigger issues (literally) and you should probably find a different form of exercise. navymp28
KTcerberus- Â Did Massif actually check if you were Army or was it just good enough to have a .mil address? I might try and order directly from them when I get back stateside.
