7.62mm Yugo barrel diameter

The outer diameter changes, if that was your question. It stays at about 15-16mm.

Thanks, looks like the topic didn't get posted. I was wondering if the M70 barrel parts would at least slide onto the TM barrel. If this works, I plan to put holes into the TM barrel so I can use the pins to attach the Yugo barrel parts. If not, I may have to use one of my AKM as the base.

Nope, won't work. The outer barrel diameter changes too much. (By that, I mean it steps down after every pinned area).

 

I'm doing it right now myself.

Are the parts too big or too small to fit on the TM barrel? I think if bondo or some other filler was used, it could help solve the problem of it being too big. (Parts fit loosely on the barrel)

 

Thanks for the help. I am one of those really careful people and don't want to risk buying a parts kit and finding out firsthand that it won't work.

Too big. BTW, the problem with the parts kits is the pins. They're in TIGHT. I used a hydraulic press to get my pins out, and that was hard as hell to do. Almost ruined the parts kit.
