Post reporting

Why don't you create a sub-forum, maybe in here, for reporting threads and posts which people think are junk/spam or whatever else?

 

If you had that it would provide a central processing point for all the bitching and whining that people do rather than having to receive a bunch of PMs all the time.

 

Beyond that, if one person reports something, or somebody, then any other people who feel the same can simply add their response in that thread, rather than a bunch of people sending a bunch of separate PMs.

 

Just an idea, is all.

i must agree with sid if any user is just being mean it should be more 'named and shamed' rather then kept as a private matter hey maybe this would even deter people from being nasty!!!

The report system works much better than any forum. If someone steps out of line and it's a genuine mistake then there's no need to publically belittle them a few careful prods and most people learn their mistake and become useful members of the forum; and if someone that's reported is a genuine 'bad egg' we just quietly remove them from the forum. It's fast and efficient
