It just always helps to report these things Basically threads created yesterday [Thursday 20th] to current are showing zero replies on the main forum pages, but obviously there are posts in the actual threads. Also a few of them seem to have popped up with no posts in them at all, blank threads, but my problem could be more user-specific based on previous encounters with these beings... gazchap Posted April 21, 2006 Report Share Posted April 21, 2006 Nah, the MySQL problems are just caused by too many users connecting at once and either tripping the "too many users" switch, or crashing the posts table. IMO (which no-one has asked for, but I'll give anyway ) a site of this size and user base needs a dedicated server, not a shared hosting server. It's only fair, not only on the users of this site but on the owners and users of the other sites on Ivery's shared hosting server. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
