Miker
Lol! I'm paranoid about a legal fake tube and you're over there bragging about having the real deal. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> lol... But for airsoft???? or not???

Victory
Foam? Or... I know foam'll do wonders...if used correctly. And wouldn't function with a real weapon...foam would be destroyed instantly. -Vic
Yeager
lol... But for airsoft???? or not??? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I have solid tubes for airsoft and real steel, usually people use them to cover up ugly factory barrels (USC, PS90, Mac-10 carbine, ect). I sure am. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> lol, just don't get caught man!
newbkiller
yes, foam, works great. and I think if I ever do get caught, I'll be in trouble for something else, more serious. Edited June 20, 2007 by newbkiller

The Crunchy Bunny
Hmm, I should try some foam on my .22 lever action and see what happens ( the ATF did not here that). For your guys' homemade cans, how do you attach them to the barrel?

hkssr20det
How well do the gbb's work with the added weight of a silencer?? As i always thought it made the slide stick in most cases. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Depends. That is a very light weight G&G suppressor so it doesn't hurt cycling at all. But it is also put together well, and has a Sheriff bushing which keeps the outer barrel more in line than the stock one. Over all my metal guns haven't had problems with G&Gs, but heavier silencers do cause problems, even with a well built gun.
Bob the Angry Potato
This is what it'd look like if the damn silencer would stay on. Doesn't have a threaded barrel, apparently KSC made one for their Cougar but I bet it wouldn't fit. God damnit, I wish there was some sort of universal adaptor. Does anyone know if KAC makes that silencer for M14's? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes they do. Can't be bothered to reference that right now, but I've seen some KAC 7.62 silencers, on SR25 of course, bt also AK47. Well, maybe not specifically for M14, but some sure would be compatible. DarkLite
God damnit, I wish there was some sort of universal adaptor. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> IIRC there's one that's sold for the M9 - it essentially is a thread with a bit that clamps onto the outter barrel - that'd work. Fuser
Just fooling around. With a .45 silencer on a 5.56 rifle. And no BUIS or optic. Its a work in progress...

The Cougar's outer barrel does not protrude past the slide very much at all, so there is very little for an M9 adapter to grip onto.

0nslaught
most likely the G&G threaded barrel. I bought one a few months ago from Airsoftextreme, check there.
