suicidalsnowman
I didn't think a suppressor would be of much use on a GBBR, but apparently it makes it harder to figure out where the hell I'm firing from.

suicidalsnowman
That is ridiculously long XD. That's what she said! Couldn't help myself, but its only slightly longer than a full length m16 with a 20 inch barrel.

Corrigan
Looks good mate. What's the utility in taping the tip of the silencer?
The Crunchy Bunny
I would assume the taped off muzzle is to keep dirt and stuff out of the barrel until you need to fire the weapon. When you fire, the bullet would obviously go through the tape. They did it similar in 'nam.

Josiah Hull
Here is my contribution to this thread Maruzen VZ61. Skorpion with metal barrel (made by me) and suppressor (also made by me) And a bit closer And the barrel with 14mm CCW threads for the silencer to attach to, apologize for the slight out of focus-ness I like the look, but will have to make another silencer for this gun so I can still be able to use the folding stock. Enjoy Edited October 8, 2010 by Josiah Hull

millest
nicely one, just curious how close does the silencer come to the gas block? and how have you managed to get the silencer and flash hider on? im assuming its the ebb Scar sd silencer and flash hider cheers millest
knivezs
@millest yup its the Scar suppressor w/ flash hider the silencer does not not screw all the way in but enough to be stabilized against the gas block it has a slightly longer inner barrel so it doesn't affect the BB path Edited October 16, 2010 by knivezs
millest
@knivezs does the flashhider screw all the way back to the sight post or is that "gap" behind it the inner barrel? cheers millest
