Mathub Posted June 5, 2006 Report Share Posted June 5, 2006 Well, I'm sellin it because the dust cover is too short for a 5 inch slide, but perfect for a 4.3 or even smaller slide. I received it on saturday, I just put internals in and do some minor filling. This frame is interesting because you can make it magna, SCW 1, 2 or 3. Because you just have to put in the metal cage from your original plastic frame. Here is some pics. I'm asking for 180$ plus shipping. I will swap for an old magna 1911 only. the cleaner Posted June 6, 2006 Report Share Posted June 6, 2006 would you trade it for a PGC 1911A1 SCW I metal frame? btw. .you should've known it would not fit a 5". . it's for a Commander (which are typically about a 4"-4.5" barrel) guide to Colt 1911 sizes: Officer(includes Defender) = 3.5" or shorter Commander= 4-4.5" (about SVI 4.3, STI 4.3 length) Govt= 5" Link to post Share on other sites
