Vast majority of parts for the M41 came from the now-defunct SD Studios. The shrouds came from the limited run of pulse rifle kits from Monsters in Motion back in 2002. Tha SPAS 12 forearm and handguard came from...what else, a Franchi SPAS 12.

As requested, more photos. The rest from that batch, and a few during construction:

Cocking handle, it does unlock, ratchet and pull back. That was nightmare to engineer.

Various in-progress pics

Rear grip

Front grip

Barrel struts (with the first two versions I used)

Custom 'caseless' ammo

MG42 feed tray, cocking handle, and faux bolt assembly

Thanks for the compliments, guys. These took a lot of time and effort to build up, but I love it :D

Edit yet again- new web host, new format. Quicktime .mov now.

This has to be my favorite sidearm of all time and I love the movie as well. Do you mind giving an explanation of how you did this?

were you asking about the blade runner gun or the equilibrium one?

btw i love the Solo blaster and the smartgun kicks *albatross*. You should really get some classic internals to get that thing shooting :)

There certainly are bike parts on it. The pieces along the barrel are rear struts from a UK-sold bike (some Kawasaki I believe?) and the fuzing/firing switches are the handlebar switches from another Kawaski (think mind came from a GPZ750). Clutch handle was just something I dug up, but I imagine the screen-used part was also from a Kawasaki.
