Titleist
I find that Khaki/CT vests go really well with Marpat, ACUPAT, DCU, Woodland, Multicam, and a few others. I disgree that OD works better, ah well. Oh and Khaki works great for PMC contractor loadouts too.

special_combat_force
but Milspex's CB looks too brown, but the Phantom's Khaki looks like a closer colour to a real CB. I may be wrong, but it's only a few $ difference,,, I may get phantom's...

col.parsons
Though I haven't got the CIRAS, I have just bought the Proud Lightweight Plate Carrier, and it's in Coyote Brown After a very long time thinking (weeks), I decided to go CB because I have ACUs and Desert DPMs, and whereas CB will go with both, and any Multicam kit I may buy in the future, OD won't. Also, I've already got tac-vests in DPM and Black to go with my normal DPM stuff, so I don't really need another vest to go with (such as OD). Anyway, when the LPC arrives with all its pouches I'll let you know what it looks like with my Desert DPMs! Si

special_combat_force
Nice, what size vest is that by the way?
mrblah
Nice, what size vest is that by the way? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> small. When i bought it, they only had one size. It barely fits me.
special_combat_force
Oh, my mate has a medium and that fits me fine, so I will probably get medium (but he has Maritime version...)
Jagdraben
After a very long time thinking (weeks), I decided to go CB because I have ACUs and Desert DPMs, and whereas CB will go with both, and any Multicam kit I may buy in the future, OD won't. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Olive Drab goes with all of those: In the ACU's case, it's an out-dated color, but clothing gets replaced much faster than other equipment. In the DDPM's case, it's that the OD is issued with standard DPM and you happened to have brought the OD along with you. In the case of Multicam, well, it seems clear to me that you haven't played Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter. The CIRAS worn by Riflemen and Grenadiers are Olive Drab. And it looks just fine with Multicam, Black, OD, Khaki, Woodland, ACUPAT, Urban, Three-color Desert, &c., &c. Probably looks fine with white, too.
BARsrule2
Coyote Brown! It's the "new OD" and looks great... plus it's the natural CIRAS color, lol. Plus how can you deny THIS: http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a81/camay...ce_Recon_19.jpg
special_combat_force
Ah nice! Though, I think I'm getting one which is more like the colour of the vest the guy on the right is wearing. (bit ODish)
col.parsons
SCF - As promised, I got some pictures taken of me in my CB Lightweight Plate Carrier with Desert DPM and ACU gear You can view them here - My Gallery Hope this helps! Si P.S. IMO the CB goes PERFECT with Desert DPM
special_combat_force
Cheers, col parsons! it sure does look nice and I will put some pics of me on the thread when I receive and taken some pictures.
bad aim
Brown. How many furry green animals do you see running around?

I could SWEAR they wear Multicam Crye Armored Chassis. They wear the Crye Armor Chassis, but in single-player only. In MP, the rifleman and grenadier classes are wearing Paraclete RAVs or RMVs (impossible to tell), not CIRASs. The Smoke Green colour and shoulder pad areas give it away more than anything, but it's definately a RAV/RMV.
Jagdraben
Whatev. Close enough for us non-geardo-types, anyway.
sadigh
Wait, a CIRAS, with DPM? WTF?! I'd say get an arktis vest instead, but its up to you. The OD (green) CIRAS will be the better colour, as its not unusual to wear OD gear with desert pattern DPM, or tri-colour BDU. Plus the OD colour looks better with the woodland DPM pattern

col.parsons
sadigh - Although I haven't got a CIRAS, my Proud Lightweight Plate Carrier (Weesatch replica) looks really cool in CB with my Desert DPMs In fact, IMO it goes way better than my DPM assault vest, or any other green type webbing would!
