LoneWolf
So I got my P226 PGC metal kit, and I noticed that the lower frame has NO threads, and I repeat: THE LOWER HAS NO THREADS AT ALL. WTF? Anyone else have this? Should I contact UN Company who sold me this kit? Cheers, Mike ™
QQexDERA
The one i fitted to a mates P226 didn't have this problem. I suggest you start shouting at the retailer who sold it to you - or invest in a set of taps and do the job yourself.
Guges Mk3
PGC has had major finishing or lack of finishing issues. We have three PGC kits here in MN...none of them are on the GBB's: On has misaligned holes, off by ~.5mm Anther has a slide that pinches (fresh!) And the third has a fat rail issue. keyserSOZE
same here. no threads. but I just screwed in the screws and they went in pretty easy. the metal is soft so go slow and straight down.
Hades
I also had that problem. Has to self thread it with some old WA 1911 screws.

Sale
The holes for the grip plate screws were tapped in the kit I installed (non-railed version), but the cover plate of the magazine catch couldn't be screwed in because the hole wasn't threaded. It's a self-tapping screw, yes, but actually there's no screw on the realsteel either (at least the old style which I had for comparison), so I just put the plate in place and let the grip plate secure it. -Sale
