Ledpocket
Here's some detail on my homemade copy of the nitro vo rail for the SAS. Took some "U" chanel, cut to length, chopped out material so it would fit, screwed some ris rails on it. Chopped up a front sight, tapped some holes. Paint it black Pretty simple. Ledpocket
rest of the pics: not too bad for free (I had all the stuff laying around), but definitely not as good as the real deal:
Machineabuse
A mag well within a mag well. As Barry Burton would say; "LOOK OUT, HE'S INSANE!"
Verymanynames
You think the box mag could work with an MP5?
Magnus
Those guns are teh sex! Do me next! lol
Ledpocket
you could adapt the design to an mp5 mag. the windy wheel is different though. Magnus, send me some guns and I'll chop the schlitz out of them for you
Ledpocket
I've been working on a couple things lately, a large battery foregrip for the SAS, a ris carry handle, and the marathon serbu project. Here's some pics:
Ledpocket
Here are some pictures / detail on the serbu front end. If you have any specific questions, please reference the pic # I made the parts myself, with the exception of the piece that connects the pump arms to the vert grip. I had that made for me. The whole thing is a shortened copy of the original marushin shell tube mag found on the 6mm m500. It has 3 tubes, that hold the bb’s, and rotate as needed, to feed into the receiver. I’ve been working on this (the marushin version) for a couple months, but the idea/project has been going for almost 2 years. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7

ƒoo
Which shottie was that originally? Did i see three barrels inside it?
Ledpocket
It's based off the marushin m500-6mm-wood version (top one in this pic): It has 1 barrel, but a 3 tube rotary magazine. When 1 tube runs out of bb's, you manually rotate it to the next tube. They sit inside the shell tube. In picture #1 you can see the full length/original parts. from the bottom, the magazin, the shell tube, outer barrel, inner barrel. Pic #2 shows the new short inner barrel. Ledpocket
I've been busy this weekend making chips on my lathe Heres some pics of a few outer barrels and some mock suppressors, a few flash hiders thrown in for good measure The entire collection was hand crafted by me. Enjoy.
Ledpocket
I started work on an M3 Greasegun, but have since modified the design a little. I am not in the mood to design and build a super extended nozzle for an m3 (to put the magwell in a realistic position campared to the grip) and I dont have a famas/p90/uzi type gearbox with the motor parallel to the piston. So anyway, I changed it a bit. It is more of a Tec-9 style gun now. It reminds me of the badguy guns in The Incredibles (can you tell I have little kids?) M4 based, with a new upper, more or less. Mini battery will go in the front, under the inner barrel (could fit a nunchuck or v battery, too). and to tidy up some of the other projects lately, here is the mp5k-sd: and the tanaka .45 saa metal barrel: More pics of the tec-9.5 later this weekend
Verymanynames
WHY OH WHY OH WHY Dont I have a cool machine shop like you do?!!?! Nice looking stuff there.
Docv400
What's that first flash hider made from, it looks vaguely familiar?
Ledpocket
All the flash hiders are aluminum. And they are all homemade (at least all the ones pictured in this page) If they look familiar it could be because I saw something similar somewhere and copied it (or because you've been watching the pics of your weapons thread ) BTW, my machine shop (at least the basement one) centers around a $400 harbor freight 8x10 mini-lathe. The rest is done with hand tools. I do utilize some off-site resources sometimes...lol (inside joke) edit-spelling
Guest
LOL Led, still drilling lots of holes eh? Your house must look like swiss cheese by now! Nice work as always, I like the KG-9 mod, I may have to steal that idea! Keep it up.
Antagon
LED, for some reason I can picture you driving this http://people.smu.edu/samuell/RiceRiceBaby...dRiceRocket.jpg That PHOTON BEAM flashhider on the M4 is a bit much for me. Other than that, good work, keep it original, lol.
Ledpocket
lol. You should see the cool mod I did to the refridgerator You can get a can of soda without opening the door. Verymanynames
Have a link to this mini lathe? I remember looking at them a while back for robot combat but those were like $900.
Ledpocket
whoops...7x10 mini lathe, and $350 now http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/Disp...temnumber=33684 For the price, it's decent enough to knock out airsoft stuff. Just not real long stuff
Ledpocket
Here's the progress, so far. Assembled and painted with a test coat. I need to sand blst the parts and repaint them, but this is about what it will look like. Things to do: add a short rail for a red dot. I also made up a drop leg pvc pipe holster. The OD paintjob is currently drying on that. I guess it looks kind of like a tec9, sorta like the guns from the incredibles, but it really reminds me of the gun from the aeon flux cartoon. Not much chance of me getting a black vinyl jumpsit, though Pics of the gun with various mags: The dropleg (prior to paint)
systema
VERY nice, Led! Once again, your customization brilliance astounds me!
