HKG36
I spy a AK74M in the back yay. Also does Russia still use the AKS-74U with the wood handguards?
joker, the frickin ninja
I believe they use the those AK (or RK) 10# variants now, which are all black and steel. But don't quote me on that one.
Agent47
yay my preordered E4 comes on Aug 1! (estimated...)
thegunrunner
The AK74 stock actually has the chevron looking lamination. I don't remember Guarder doing that when they released theirs. I'll probably be buying their AKS74U and AK74. Now if they could just do a proper RPK with bulge style receiver.
Jagdraben
I believe they use the those AK (or RK) 10# variants now, which are all black and steel. But don't quote me on that one. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The Russian military uses the AK-74M. Some Russian special forces units have, allegedly, purchased some of the AK-10xs. I would imagine mostly the AK-103 and AK-104 (because they both fire the heavier 7.62x39mm Russian cartridge while keeping most or all of the advances that the AK-74M has over the AKM and AK-47, I would suspect). counterassasin
Roumors are that the AKS-74 will be released in the end of August...
Tinkerton
I believe they use the those AK (or RK) 10# variants now, which are all black and steel. But don't quote me on that one. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> most AK-10X series are made for export. Also, many units are still using the AKM, purely becuase its got a great stopping power. Also, many people *prefer* wooden furnature to poly, so just becuase its all black and shiny doesnt mean people will use it. (by the way, all of the AK series is steel. right up from the AK-47 to the AK-108 )
Jagdraben
Venezuela will be issuing the AK-103 to their units. They bought a batch from Russia and are in the midst of securing a license to produce them in Venezuela.
nieon
Seriously! PLEASE. Somebody with say-so in ANY of the major airsoft houses - make a Tantal or an Onyx or an AIMS. You mean something like this? wooden tantal furniture has been changed to a beryl foregrip(at least the bottom one i believe) Of course the guns arent mine, they belong to a teamm8 and he complains from time to time about different bits and bombs "he will soon fix" but they look great anyway IMO. As you can see some time , craft can make you happy :] btw he really didnt pay much more than a stock ak for the complete gun (excluding internal upgr ofcourse)
