doc_newstead
My friend went to Fairford and, though I haven't seen him for a while, my gf saw him last week where he gleefully informed her that he took 5000 photos there... He wanted to try and get tickets for Farnborough (he works at an airport), though I don't know if he managed it this year. Edited July 25, 2006 by doc_newstead

9MM
Not sure, but i caught a glimpse of what it said on the side of the plane, something along the lines of: 'i ca.t be.ive y.o can rea. th.s' Lol, im not sure mate, not really too good with planes. Its not that new is it though (?), i saw it about 4 years ago when i actually went.. Cheers, 9MM.
snowman
Eurofighter (Typhoon now) was there, as was the similar SAAB Grippen. Had a B1B fly over, too, as well as the Battle of Britain flight (Huricane, Spit and Lancaster). That MIG, too, that basically stalls and falls out of the sky - Clever trick Cheers. A tail slide is where you fly upwards until you run out of energy and then free fall backwards. And yes a Russian fighter has crashed into the ground whilst attempting a Cobra at an airshow ( performed the manuever at too low a height and didnt have enough energy at the end to recover ) Edited July 25, 2006 by rageman
