Lithium Jack
Rifles with 20-inch barrels in CQC. Just be sure to bring a pistol.... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> scince i have never played woodland, i cant compare the two I can however say that i have seen everything from EBBs to AEG M14s used, and used properly. in CQB you need a quickdraw pistol. because when that mag runs dry, and it will run dry, you can either cower behind a wall to reload. Or snap a couple of pistols rounds in the right direction, maintain the advantage, kill every last darn mo-fo in the room, and then reload. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Cheers guys. I'll probably get a shorty barrel just in case then, but I imagine I'll have at least a couple of pistols in Serpa holsters on me.* *When money issues are resolved
ED-SKaR
Cheers guys. I'll probably get a shorty barrel just in case then, <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It is best, either a bullpup, or some other gun that you can reach the muzzle of with your left arm (assuming you are right handed) often a good few inches shorter than that is good, MP5s go fairly cheeply, and with everything from realcaps through midcaps and on to boxmags, you have excelent choice of mags. with an one point sling on a sliding stock MP5 you can adjust it to the right length to use it left handed (assuming you are right handed normally) and still be short enough to throw behind your back and crouch behind a barrel. thatguy
CQB is a completely different animal. Tactics and TEAMwork REALLY matter here. Kit is and should be different. And the biggest difference of all -- two little words that you'll never hear in the comfort of the outdoors: Fatal Funnel.
101matt1
What happened to "Once a sniper, always a sniper" <{POST_SNAPBACK}> True to the saying: 'my get up and go, got up and went', 'my sniping got up, and smacked me in the head with the butt of my rifle'. But no, I found I am not patient, and I had a CM 028-s on the way. PS: I am not saying I AM a CQB expert, I meant specialist, yet its too late to edit....

Kousnik
Camouflage in urban isnt necessary. Sure, i have a digital urban loadout, but that isnt going to do me much good, except there is quite a bit of padding. Some people may think i look like a dork, but hey. Weapondry... Anything works really, but you want to take a GBB in there with you and a smaller AEG like a submachine gun or a large rifle with telescopic/folding/etc stock works best. LSWs also have a place too. You dont intend to hit anyone with them, you use it to keep the enemies head down while your boys move in. A Grenadier also finds his place in situations like this. Protection... Padding, arm/knee pads, and i would suggest full face mask and helmet and thick leather gloves, such as the NI issue British gloves.

The entry portal is the most "lethal" area in all of airsoft. Unless the team is working very well together, the chances of making it through unscathed is next to nil. Krazy L
we were trained a little differently on that... we used the double hand technique. you know the one everyone uses for help getting over a wall or something.and we always chunked flashbangs when we have to enter thru windows... well there was the time the demo. instructor came by.. he let us use some det cord on a window... that was fricken hilarious. I am a CQB enthusiest. And love the intensity and adrenaline of CQB. Ok, so I am a CQB lover. But what else could I call myself? A CQB warrior? But that is too cheesy. Anyway, I got my CYMA CM 028-s today, and after charging my battery for 4 hours with the included charger (I hope this charge time was right...) I went out and shot. All I can say is WOW! I love it! I went trough 500~ rounds. And fine tuned my hop-up. The mags with the gun are OK but, I think I am going to get a, if not a couple, TM beta spetsnaz mags. They will be lower profile, so it should be better for CQB/C. I am going to Hobbytown USA soon and get some more KSC's BBs, and see if they have a R/C discharger. I really doubt it but they have R/C cars, so why shouldn't they? But, the gun is awesome! I just need some better mags, the included ones shoot about 25 rds then start shooting once every other shot. But overall, I made a good purchase, but could I buy a discharger from anyone? EDIT: I would like to add that on the CM 028-s there are 's. One has the AK symbol one is 'CM 028-s' one is 'MADE IN CHINA', and for those of you who dont think this is realistic, there are chinese AK-47's, my dad owns 2 of um.
Jagdraben
Yes, but the Chinese don't call them AK-47s. They call them Type-56 automatic rifles. Well... that's what the West calls what they call them. In any case, I would like pictures. There's just something about rifles with folding bayonets that's just sexy. EDIT: Oh, and Type-56s won't say 'MADE IN CHINA'. At least not in English. Maybe in Chinese. Unless they're Norincos, in which case they're Chinese built Kalashnikovs and not Type-56s.
