China Airsoft Development

For the love of god, please don't tell me that AUG is gonna be mass-produced in white.
Hey, it's just a prototype. Metal parts aren't painted yet and the plastic is plain white. Flip a couple of pages back and see the Boyi M4 metal gearbox prototype.

Also, my contact said that the name of the factory has to remain confidential as he doesn't want the competition to have an "unfair advantage".

Do any of you guys know if that new Double eagle sniper rifle uses the G-SPEC hop up or the normal VSR hop? I was going to do an order on gunner, and i thought i might aswell get a 20 quid sniper rifle whilst im at it amd wondered if it had the gucci Vhop or whatever it is.

Back to what was said earlier about teenagers running around with cheap-er AEGs, I totally agree. At my high school here in South Carolina (Which I do so truly hate) the kids act like 5 year olds. One guy didn't believe me that there was a Korean War... Such immature teenagers will probably shed some bad light on airsoft  But that's just my opinion.

Mike, do you know for definate if that FAMAS was an AEG?  They were having discussions over on ASR over whether it was a PGB or a MGB.

Always secretly loved the FAMAS, so would be good to know.

Thanks

Matt

Probably PGB. All BE guns are like that at first, I believe.

It'll be followed shortly after with an MGB.

Either way, I sense a spare parts butcher.

could go either way I suppose. If its a true V1 gearbox clone the cloner would more than likely do a PGB version first. Hoping for a MGB version though, just so I can put it on the list of all those other guns I want to own. Its about 17th on the list so far...damn you china!

China: FAMAS replica

New day, new (semi) interesting replica from China. Apologies for using blanket term "China," but manufacturers are not listed and this is appropriate term to denote common philosophy behind the products.

Anyway, replicas of FAMAS are rare. This one comes with battery, laser and light module, charger and NormCap loader.

However, this is *most probably* a LPEG replica (plastic gearbox with low exit energy). Hopefully version with metal gearbox is not very far behind. Picture courtesy of Shirley Toys.

When's your B-Day?

Edit: Ah Nov 8th

Mine's on the 7th :D (just thought I'd throw that out lol. It's always wierd to see someone else born near when I was. No one was born in November lol)

I was surprised to see that the FAMAS was less than the MP7!

Sorry, back on topic.

The MP7 is newer. The FAMAS is TM's first design (doesn't mean it's bad though. If it were bad, do you think it would still be sold? :P ). I'm considering a FAMAS to replace my M16. You'll have to let me know what you think of yours.

Anyway, comence with the original topic :D

Guys, solid proof of some previously unknown development. Solid as a zinc-aluminium casting:

http://www.gear.net.cn/en/about.asp

Check the "Zn&Al Castings" section. Airsoft gearboxes and some other surprising parts (an AEP mag, Beretta grips and something you just HAVE to see for yourself).

maybe a bastardiced ver3 gear for the G36 clones? I amam more interested about the tiny gearboxes that seem to have rounds for 4 gears...
OMFG, you fail. Watching gearboxes and not seeing a full metal pistol? And most probably a GBB at that?!

Linkey in english not working...
Try again, it just doesn't work sometimes, all you need to do is refresh.

http://www.gear.net.cn/en/ProductShow.asp?ArticleID=240 - outer barrel with flash hider and stock mounting for a MP7. Also a side rail and some random bits.

http://www.gear.net.cn/en/ProductShow.asp?ArticleID=239 - MP7 gearbox frame, trigger and some random bits again.

http://www.gear.net.cn/en/ProductShow.asp?ArticleID=229 - frame. Slide. Front sight. And something looking like a GBB bolt.

http://www.gear.net.cn/en/ProductShow.asp?ArticleID=83 - Valves.

Something tells me, we'll have Ł30 full metal GBBs next spring...

Or sooner.
