Then there was the time they ordered evening buffet for 50 when they had like 120+ guests and complained when the food ran out! Chef made more, which they were charged for and they then complained when that ran out.

The amount of times i get that.

We get told

"Its a party for 50 people" Buffet food, no problem as you can make it up with other things, and normally you aim for about 90% people as to avoid wastage, but hold the extra 10% back (uncooked) plus about 5% if they're hungry. 9 out 10 it goes to plan, and we save costs, and the other 1 time, we cook off the extra, no biggie.

 

But sit down meals are ALWAYS fun.

Say its 60 people, 20 beef, 20 chicken, 17 fish, 3 veggie (wierdo's).

So we cook 22 beef, 22 chicken, 19 fish, and 3 veggie.

Everytime, i dont end up with 2 of each left over. People forget what they order, or just change it. And then they complain if they dont get what they want!

Either im getting smarter, or the world's getting dumber.
