lol no what I mean is the rest of the gun looks really nice, then you move to the front of the rifle and its let down (imo) by the foregrip with the screw on rail - If my eyes dont deceive me.

It's begging for MRE or something to complete it! And bring it up to the standard of your other Armalites! ;)

Amateur, Im not saying in anyway that none of his others aren't lovely. Thats my exact point.

Lets me try and think of an analogy;

You win the lottery, amongst your array of Airsoft guns, because lets face it thats whyat we would all spend our winnings on, you decide to buy 4 new cars. So you have a garage consisting of 4 Supercars. A Zonda S, a F430, a Veyron, and a Carrerra GT. They all look amazing, except on the Zonda S you have 13in steel wheels you have taken off a 1990 VW Polo. Sure they function correctly, but they dont exactly fit the rest of the car. And it could be better i.e. traction.

Thats the point im trying to get at, imo (thats the key thing here lol) it needs something nice to finish it off!

And yes, by all means put a ready-to-eat Chicken Korma on it from Asda ;)

I know what you mean but I suppose the two most important things in airsoft weapons are looks and functionality.

In most cases looks are more important since with AEGs the operation is much of a muchness.

In that case you think his short AR needs finishing but I think it is lovely the way it is.

The variety and individuality is one of the things I love most about airsoft. I don't own and never have owned an electric AR because I don't like them.

That said I couldn't resist my gas one and I love it to death but I asked my GF to get me a laser/torch combination that mounts on the foresight just so I wouldn't have to fit a RIS RAS MRE or the like to my AR.

I may get a screw on rail like Fareast's if I want a fore grip but personally I think no AR looks better than an M4 with an M203 and the top of the hand guard fitted with an A1 upper with a brass deflector.

I should have used a smiley.

anyway, what's wrong with 13s they look the buisness on my suzuki swift. :)

Lastly, Fareast, I love the BFA, it is a really nice touch. I was debating getting one for my L85.

Stunt

*EDIT* my 4 car garage would be an AUDI RS4 estate, an Ariel Atom, a lancia delta evo2 and a bowler wildcat.

True, it is just personal opinion! And qudos for being different.

FarEast can correct me if Im wrong but I would hazard a guess that the screw on rail is also not as strong as say any form of Metal RIS/RAS due to the nature of the foregrip set-up splitting in two, the flexibility of the polymer, and the method of attachment (screw holes can loose their threads, plastic holes can warp etc etc). Which means it is also not as good functionally ;) But yeah, if it works then fair play!

P.s Oh and my 106 only has 14's. And the RS4 would be one of my choices, the other 3 being a nicely kitted 106 GTi with a turbo S16 conversion, a 1970 Chevvy Corvette Stingray, and a Delta HF Integrale!

LOL, The M4A1 is my low drag High speed gun. If you've used it you'll know exactly what I mean!

The HK416D is the one that gets the MRE (I knew what it ment I was just in a silly mood.) and i have plenty to go on there!

I really should get all of them on this thread in one long marathon of gun porn!

Real steal dealt ring and the foregrip is also realsteal, The rail is also realsteal. The whole front section is very solid, There is probably now way Im going to rip out the screws as there is a plate that runs alon the inside of the fore grip that the rail connects into. If I have an incident that can rip any of it out then I'm going to be kissing the whole gun goodbye!

The parts I got from a wholesaler in the US alot cheaper than the airsoft replicas. The foregrip alone cost me $45.00 USD
