Victory
TCB: If I were you, I'd move the flashlight on the bottom. And maybe the PEQ on the top if you can still see your irons. Overall, looks good. You're gettin' there! -Vic
Husky
lol the front sight is MUCH higher than the rear sight, thats why.
Victory
lol the front sight is MUCH higher than the rear sight, thats why. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It does look that way a bit...but the gun isn't 100% horizontal...it's off a bit. Oh, and the front sight appears to be a SR25 front sight, which is usually a bit higher. Not sure on the rear sight. -Vic
BARsrule2
You do know that the front sight blade doesn't sit at the same height as the two side plates right? His sights are fine.
private_ruud
This thing is really to much fun to shoot. Brings a new meaning to "plinking" <{POST_SNAPBACK}> ooh shiny is it a ca ?
tomster
No I have the same frontsight and it's too high. It's supposed to be put on a railed gasblock which usually sits lower than the RIS/RAS.
Sniperman15
ooh shiny is it a ca ? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yup, couldn't pass it up for the $550 price tag.
newbkiller
I love the mk.I minimi's. they just look so much better than the mk. II's. oh, and imaginary +1 for the saw pouch.
The Crunchy Bunny
My sights seems to line up just fine. It is a tiny bit high but I can compensate. If I get some extra money I may get a railed gasblock to. Vic: I'll try out the flashlight on the bottom rail. And I would mount the PEQ on top but I don't get a clear sight picture. That paint dripping is what happens when you paint a plastic that doesn't hold paint well and the object is up-right... Edited August 26, 2007 by Miker

kliskey
Miker, to solve your paint dripping, perhaps don't hold the bottle at near point blank Or if that wasn't the case, layer it from a small distance, 2-3 layers of light sprays. Instead of one large continuous dump
Miker
Miker, to solve your paint dripping, perhaps don't hold the bottle at near point blank Or if that wasn't the case, layer it from a small distance, 2-3 layers of light sprays. Instead of one large continuous dump <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The problem was slippery plastic mixed with being up-right I think... lighter coats may have been a little more helpful, but it wasn't like I was making puddles of paint! EDIT: Did my pictures inspire you to post yours NewbKiller? BTW I wasn't expecting to see what I saw when I opened up the boxmag! I thought at first that the motor just spun the bottom, and it's also sweet that you can hold like 2000 rounds. You make good stuff "NewbKiller" Edited August 27, 2007 by Miker
