spassie
That poor SPAS <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You're right, It's a little poor to American standarts... Back to the drawing board... next step:reinforce a few internals, cram a gas-system into this thing ,and make it semi-automatic...just like the real thing.

Carter
@Youngblood: how do you like the STAR PEQ? What size do you have and can you use irons with it on the top rail?
youngblood
@Youngblood: how do you like the STAR PEQ? What size do you have and can you use irons with it on the top rail? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think its awesome. And yes you can still use the iron sights, but if you wanted to put an aimpoint/acog/eotech, etc,... you're going to need a high mount / cantelever mount. I'm not 100% sure about how to answer your size question, but here is a link to the exact one i have that is being sold off ebay click me
Carter
What do you mean you will need a high mount? Does it take up a lot of the picture or something?

the_viral_phantom
That 1911 is beautiful mate, how long did it take to do the slide? Viral. EDIT; forgot, can i have a parts list. Edited October 16, 2007 by the_viral_phantom
krame
Thanks. It took me about 2 1/2 hours of sanding and polishing. If you want a parts list for the 1911 it'll be pretty short. All I changed were the grips. Everything else is stock. I just sanded and polished the side of the slide and frame, magazine, barrel bushing and recoil bushing.
