jnr4817
I used a krylon tan base coat. Then I added sprays of krylon brown with a small oval template. Finally I used some Rustoleum(coyote brown color) to over spray the body to tone down the brown and tan. Took about 2 hrs total with letting each coat dry.

It blends in quite well and looks a lot better than your real steel inspiration counterpart.

SilentScope
Wooo jnr4817 that Mk18 looks effin sweet. You better not repaint it once the paint starts to get scratched off and stuff. That's real subtle work man nice job.

jnr4817
Thank you all for your reply's. I can't wait to use it. I won't repaint it. The wear and tear add to the paint scheme. Jason Just need to add surefire 9p and foregrip. Maybe a PEQ-2.

"I pity the fool who makes a psg1 a mc51" <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I'm sorry if I insulted you by distorting the image of your god , but my purpose was only to make a working medium high power semiautomatic sniper rifle being not too long to handle in various situations. If it helps your pain, I've had earlier a whole PSG-1 and I sold it away in one piece.

Slap an MC51 lower on it, keep the PSG-1 grip and stock on it. And you'll have the sexiest SA/FA DM rifle on the face of the Earth. Peroid..

no1rc3ur
that looks good! but the flash hider on the 416 isn't quite my thing
Lithium Jack
firepigs are very in vogue though.
j3T
I know, I'm waiting on the VLTOR replica. The noveske is the only flashhider I have that actually fits. The original one only fits the barrel extension, and hardly fits the thread where my KFH is now mounted on.
