Click here to start our 24/7 Helper Console! Almost identical to the AEG, the spring UTG AK-47 Warhawk is by far the best looking and functioning spring AK on the planet. Its performance surpasses all competing models in its class to include the revered A-15. Construction: With the exception of a few screws on the receiver and an external hop up adjustment lever, the Spring Warhawk is practically the same in appearance to the AEG Warhawk. Boasting an extremely high metal content the Spring WarHawk weighs the same at just under 7 pounds fully loaded. Metal parts include: muzzle/front sight, barrel, mock cleaning rod, front sling mount, click adjustable rear sight, bolt, upper receiver cover, trigger guard, trigger, selector switch, rear sling mount and butt plate. Cocking the spring is accomplished by pulling back on the full metal bolt just like a real AK. The cocking bolt has a relatively short travel and slides smoothly so you can really crank out some firepower if the situation calls for it. The upper receiver cover has a plastic tri rail mount attached to it for mounting a red dot sight or scope. However, this can be removed for a more traditional AK look by removing three screws although it does leave three holes in the cover. Not many spring rifles can brag that their stocks are more detailed than that of a $300 AEG. The imitation wood finish on the Warhawks stock is far more realistic than a Tokyo Marui AK. The UTG has a less reflective, more wood-like appearance than the Marui. Performance: This rifle would best be described as the AEG that you have to cock every time. It has the same power, range and accuracy of the more expensive electric model. It has an adjustable hop up system so it can take several different weights of BBs and still have a flat trajectory. The hop up system is very responsive and easy to adjust so you can switch from using high velocity .2g BBs to more accurate .25g BBs without spending half your afternoon trying to set your hop up. Goodies: Included with the WarHawk will be two 340 round high capacity magazines, UTG 3 point tactical sling, tri rail weaver mount and a UTG speed loader. The speed loader is not needed to load the included high capacity magazines but is a nice feature in case you order some standard magazines with the gun. The WarkHawk is compatible with AEG magazines such as Marui, Classic Army and others. For those of you that want more realism we found that the 30 round capacity STAR magazines work very well with this rifle. Specifications are from our test results. Operation: Spring Select fire: Manual cocking Muzzle velocity: 280 fps w/ .2g Effective range: 150 feet Maximum range: 170 feet Ammo type: High Polished .2g to .25g Hop Up: Adjustable Weight: 6.5 lbs Magazine capacity: 340 rds (Wind Up High Capacity Magazine) Length: 34.5 inches Comes with orange tip ©2006 Shorty USA Inc. gotphill
you might want to use .20 it gives you a little more distanc and accuracy but im guessing in a utg .12 might work but try and avoid them

Sledge
itll get you threw tell you get some .20 just wach out for jams and try not to go full auto to long <{POST_SNAPBACK}> What the gay blue hell is that supposed to mean? Anyway, the problem with .12s is you'll lose long range accuracy. But for plinking in a gun with adjustable hop, go for it.
Stealthbomber
itll get you threw tell you get some .20 just wach out for jams and try not to go full auto to long <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Dude, he's talking about a SPRINGER AK.
otherrandomhero
itll get you threw tell you get some .20 just wach out for jams and try not to go full auto to long <{POST_SNAPBACK}> that was blatanly stupid. It's a springer so there's no auto. Again, it's a springer, preventing jams. .12's dont jam any more than .2, they just perform worse. Get out and buy some .2's, they are $4 for 1000 at most walmarts and such. .12 sucks in most UTG guns
soadrocker856
Crappy spring pistols and low end guns need .12s, but if it is something a little higher in quality, than use .20s for distance and accuracy. Got any airsoft friends? Sell them the BBs.
gotphill
o well it still works the same way .20 are still better
