Eggy777
Congrats on the ESP Benplaut it's a D-boys gun. Thanks for the comments on the paint guys, it was the first time I'd tried it . Ben PS I've just noticed that the high cap in the picture shows me up to be the noob that I am LOL. Noob. But on a more serious note, the camo job seems very well done. I don't personally like the pattern, but good job non the less. Carter
Praise the Lord! The M16 is making a comeback! We just need a few hundred more and we'll be on an even level with M4s <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I can throw up a picture of a FUBARed SRC M16 that I eventually will convert to a MK12 MOD 1 if you like. Batou-san
Eggy, the paintjob looks more like a work of art than a camojob, maybe a bit high detail for the field but surely a nice item inside a glass cabinet

It's no work of art to be hung on a wall though, in a couple of months there will be some nice signs of were on there. Eggy
luvs2shoot
eggy. that's one of the best paintjobs i've seen in awhile. nice job

GuzziHero
BEGONE, foul barrel/ris wobble! Used my old CQB SEAL body on the DBoys, and added a DBoys crane stock. Quite an improvement in looks and a HELL of an improvement in build quality:
Souske
my a&k cqbr before i sold it <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That looks really authentic. Seeing an influx of CQBRs in here...so I'll post pics of mine. I tried experimenting with the shading and lighting on my camera to get these looks in vain attempt for a more 'artistic' look. luvs2shoot
interesting camo there souske. never thought of a mud spray. highly original
Souske
Thanks. It's not quite 'mud' though....more like Krylon 'Mimosa' dusted with Krylon saddle tan' with dark brown stripes. Very rudimentary, but I wanted to go with the authentic/worn/used look. I used to do some very 'eye pleasing' and more complicated patterns...but it wasn't always 'authentic' in terms of looks. luvs2shoot
lol i understand what u mean completely. ur spray job is definitely original considering that it's the first of its kind i've seen.
GuzziHero
Forgot to mention - Im looking for these parts for a CA (or compatible): Mock bolt release Ejection port dust cover (I only need the rod, because DBoys ones wont fit, but I dont mind buying the entire unit) PM me if you have these for offer, I dont visit this thread none too much. fanta101
...and I guess it's time for that "eventually"... And for the record, neither are complete. The above photos didn't come out too well...the background was too bright, and I don't have Photochop... These came out good, though. -Vic P.S. Titleist...can I borrow your camera? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Nice Gun there . Edited August 11, 2007 by fanta101
BP-anon
I'm seeing a few (comparatively very few) people who have, instead of a full ras, individual rails on the top or bottom of the regular M4/M16 handgaurd. Are those compat between AEG brands? I wasn't aware that handgaurds were "marui cloned"
Carter
They aren't actually part of the handguard itself. They are individual rails that you can buy and then you mount them to the handguard via those little holes. Here is an example

I'm asking if they fit the handgaurds of different brands (TM, CA, G&P, ICS...). Normally I wouldn't worry, but for a part that isn't commonly used...
Carter
Ooooh. Sorry, misunderstood you there. Yeah, if I were to guess I'd say it would. I don't think those little holes would differ so much between companies so as to make them incompatible with eachother. ...edited for spelling... Edited August 12, 2007 by Sgt.
