eX0ps^SIME
Title basically explains it. Was working fine two days ago. Checked the fuse, replaced it, charged the battery, nothing..
eX0ps^SIME
charged up the battery again, not firing still.
Stealthbomber
Are you sure the battery is charged? How did you check the fuse? Are you sure the battery connectors are making a good contact? If you're sure of all those things it might be that you stopped firing at a point where the trigger had just flicked up after a semi shot but, for some reason, is not resetting. Try twiddling the fire-selector backward and forward a few times and try flicking the trigger by pulling it back then allowing it to spring forward. Might free it up. It's very rare that a working AEG suddenly stops working between battery charged though. It's more likely that the problem is with the electrics or battery.

But i replaced it just to make sure. The battery was freshly charged yesterday for 4 hours and 12 minutes, the correct charge time. im very sure of it.
juicymeat
Remove your motor plate, and check to see if the wiring hasnt hitched itself off of the motor connectors. Check all your wiring and connections as well.
SlvrDragon50
Check your wiring.. wire may have gotten loose
eX0ps^SIME
umm..im not exactly the techie genious...but how do i check if the wiring isnt connected?
ezgil
just unscrew the motor plate located on the bottom of your pistol grip. Inside your motor should be sitting comfortably with a red and black wire "hooked" into these flat thing nodules that stick out from the rear of the motor. if the wires are just dangling there, re-hook em in and give your rifle a whirl. Tommygunn
Is it a new battery pack? Are you using an alternative pack and the problem arose since then? What voltage, ampage and physical size(AF 17mm diam, SubC 23mm diam) are your cells? Is this a new or old gun? Have you opened it/modified it recently? What make is it? Any other details. eX0ps^SIME
no ive had this batetry pack since i got the gun./ The gun is about 3-4 months old. Never had a lock up before. It is an AIM M4. It has been working great for me until this happened. I havent opened it up before the problem, but as youcan see, I have afterthe problem.

eX0ps^SIME
anwyays..back on topic..how do you fix a locked gearbox?
King Ataturk
wait......the spring is locked back? that's definitely not good. even as we speak your spring is losing tension and in turn, decreasing the fps. after you fix it, I would reccomend getting a new spring. not sure how to fix a locked gearbox, but make sure to double-check every wire in teh gun. it is probably an electical problem. does it make any sound at all when you pull the trigger? eX0ps^SIME
no.
eX0ps^SIME
DAMN.. i think i mgiht tske it to AEX sometime.... ill get them to put in a spring as well. what spring shold i get?
juicymeat
What you can do is take a paperclip and make a hook at the end of it, then take the gearbox out, and on the bottom of the gearbox where the motor goes in, you should be able to see a latch on the bevel gear, take your paperclip and yank this metal latch, the gears should spin and the spring will push the piston forward relaxing the spring. Be careful though, with a spring that far back, it might be really hard to release the latch and the gearbox might knock out of your hands from the push of the spring. An alternative is to open up your gearbox slowly, and itll make a popping sound and then your spring should be free.
