master_titled
who was carrying a shotgun with them as a backup or something?
Wraith18A
In the movie (and even in the book) we see several examples of Delta carrying shotguns as door-opening devices. Also in the book, recall that it mentions that some of the Operators were using a "wicked-looking CAR-15 with underslung shotgun" that I believe they called the "Masterkey". In the movie, several Operators (but not Bana) are packing shotties.
Husky
mmm, masterkey.. very amazing weapon... for those close shots that the m16 doesnt do enough damage, and the far shots a remington 870 cant reach.
master_titled
what type of shotguns were used? i reviewed the film and the extnded/deleted scenes and i culdnt quite pick them out. but i do know it is a pistol grip and tube fed...
Jagdraben
That doesn't describe nearly every shotgun every made. (Although it does disqualify the SPAS-15, USAS-12, and Saiga, among others.)
Wraith18A
I think they were just Remington 870s. No stocks, however.
skyler8158
Sgt Sanderson (William Fichtner) carried a Remington 870 in a breaching config in the film. His character was based on Sgt Paul Howe, who did carry a shotgun during the battle.
Jboud18
I KNOW THIS IS AN NECRO POST, but did any body find out what he was wearing. I dont want to make a new topic and have some one answer it in a thread already made up. Thanks.
The Waco Kid
I think it is covered in one of the above posts. The laylax replica seems to be pretty damn close to the movie costume.

Thorbard
PT armour and a BHI .223 chest rig is what you want. Not sure if thats exact, but it is what will look right.
Wraith18A
Or the Eagle one... that one is even closer to the right look.
Thorbard
Or the Eagle one... that one is even closer to the right look. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If, as people seem to be suggesting, BHI supplied the kit for the film. Well, I think you can work out where that goes next...
Wraith18A
True, but BHI copied the Eagle one. I'd say that Eagle is generally nicer than the BHI copies...

Psychosis
The Blackhawk chest pouch is pretty much what they wore in the movie, and the load bearing rig an alternative to it - the Eagle wasn't screen used, but as it was developed by one of the operators who participated in Gothic Serpent, I think you'll be fine with it. The Pantac PC could be passable to the casual eye, but there are better looking plate carriers out there IMO. You can't go wrong with any of the three rigs you mentioned otherwise. Jboud18
EDIT: Did he have some pouches green? In the movie it looked like he did. Also what other body armour vests are there?
Jboud18
To the post above (me) i found out and he did I found this, http://www.laylax.com/webcatalog/index.php...gg1056&p_arrSel I don't know how accurate it is. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I have to ask how would i order that, all i can see is little squares instead of language. Do they have a contact info i cant see anything to contact them EDIT: I got to add that when you pause half way through the movie in BHD "ON SET" special feature and its at the 360 degree view of Eric Bana it looks like hes got the chest rig and under it a belt with suspender harness with some 3 m16 magazine pouch.
