m35reo
thats a whole heap of ak goodness there. and after seeing so many nice examples on this thread i thought it was only fair to share my rough old dog with you. she aint pretty but she does the job. started out as a very nice full stock src in great condition but i thought who needs a stock so ripped it off, then the problem of accurate aim came up so in to the garage weld up a quick galil style stock and bingo. then as i had an m203 knockin about that got nailed on the front, much skirmish field hammer and there you go . i know your blown away by her beauty and i can imagine your all drooling with envy by now, especialy the gaffer tape batt holder. savour and enjoy
The Crunchy Bunny
MIGHTYJEBUS, DO YOU HAVE ENOUGH AK'S? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You can never have to many AK's my friend. If I had the money, I'd have all those. Cause AK's are the best sort of weapons.
DanDan
By Christ mightyjebus, that looks like an insurgent stockpile! Especially with that numbering painted on the stock of the one at the top. I'm bloody jealous! As a side note it's brilliant seeing all these people doing Bizon conversions of late.

mightyjebus
i'm using a thompson hicap and a ak mag (chopped up) with a little piece of hollow pipe for the internals which will all be housed in a pvc pipe. hopefully i should have it finished in a day or
Hoppum
Are you making it as a hicap? I was thinking of using a G&P 55rnd VSR mag and making a bizon mag-a-like around it.
mightyjebus
yeah i thought that since i was using pvc pipe i may aswell make it a hicap with the pipe holding a shed load of bb's. when i finish it i will take a photo of the internals and show them here.
newbkiller
wait, will that work seeing of the nature of highcaps is to be somwhat gravity fed? still, it looks great and I might try it when that chinese ak-74s reciever is released.

Slash'
That's pretty nice for stock plastic... in other news, I was just wondering whether you can put ak47 grips onto an ak74 (cm031) and vice versa... I didn't think so at all and I still doubt it but looking at pictures they seem to have similar and dimensions... anybody? no? dust. EDIT: being verbose Edited March 9, 2007 by Slash'
ad400317
No, they are similar but not the same. I tried with my ICS AK74 and my CM028s.

I didn't think so at all and I still doubt it but looking at pictures they seem to have similar and dimensions... anybody? no? dust. EDIT: being verbose <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes they are compatible. I took a marui wood kit and put it on my slr with no modding needed and slr furniture on a marui. Since the cyma 031 is a slr copy, there should be no problem.
Slash'
Really?? If that's true that would definitely be good news. I have some AK RIS grips (similar to the ones on the cm028a tactical thing but in black) and I also have some nice looking "wood" grips (a bit dulled and aged) that I would love to see on an slr. EDIT: spelling Edited March 9, 2007 by Slash'
