Snigel
mightyjebus: OMG! That's so nice, now I feel like I really need an AK47SU Tomorrow I'll finaly have something to show in this thread instead of just looking and dreaming xD
Guinness
Guinness, Forget about Unicorn AKSU. It's the KLS one that looks the best of two (in term of accuracy of the finish compared to the real one, take a look here, if not already done). And yours particulary looks awesome. Maybe can you apply your "plum treatment" to the grip and refinish the handguard The magazine needs special treatment too ^^ And finally remove the paint from some rivets and the stock locking mech Thanks Lovecraft! I actually had the Kalash pistol grip in the soup just as long as all the other pieces- it's black color wouldn't budge That's cool I'm going to replace it with an Element brick-red And I did go over the Kalash already with fine steel wool- I'll hit it again today while I'm waiting on paint to dry on my Shotgun project Oh and GRIM!, in regards to the Mighty Jebus' AK's- That's not a "collection"... ....it's an Arsenal ! Excellent stuff there MJ! I'm afraid if you gathered them all together for a 'group shot' then the bobbies would think they had finally found the WMD's everybody was looking for! Slainte! iloveics
Nice jebus. Anyone got any idea's on what I can do with my ak stock. the wood one splits every skirmish and I was going to replace it with the ACM sidefolder..... http://www.checksixairsoft.com/ecommerce/p...p?prod=ACM-RK01 But as you can see it doesn't appear to fit in a G&P metal body as the tangs are NOT removable. Also rsov doesn't seem to stock it anymore. is there something else I could put on it other than a wood stock or a plastic "wood" stock. DarkMM
But as you can see it doesn't appear to fit in a G&P metal body as the tangs are NOT removable. Did you try a hacksaw and file? It's what I used - an element body true. DarkMM ~edit~ looking at the new picture - maybe a dremil type drill with a cutting disk? iloveics
oh how I hate uk law I just want to buy a VFC AIMS or a VFC 74s
mightyjebus
you could replace the furniture with some of the following: http://www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper.php?i...it%20for%20AEGs http://www.wgcshop.com/pcart/shopper.php?i...it%20for%20AEGs I like the second one better. add a ris grip and a green laser and you would have a good looking AEG. another option which isn't really any Ak i know of but would look good would be to get the ACM RPK kit and sand the stock smooth then paint black. add ris front foregrips then remove the bipod and fit a ris grip with the legs that spring out. add a drum mag and you would have a sweet looking RPK. thinking about it..adding a scopr mount and sticking an acog on there would look pretty good as well. Nice jebus. lovecraft25
Guinness, Concerning the Element grip, the brown one looks closer to the reality than the red one (for an AKSU) mightyjebus, Very nice arsenal ! I've a couple of questions : what are the grips on the Unicorn AKSU and on the KLS AKSU ? Did you replace or repaint these ? Thanks. thegunrunner, Simply awesome ! mightyjebus
I dyed them both plum however the unicorn one just turned shiney black. I also tried dying the CYMA one and it shrunk so don't try it if you have a CYAM. Gunrunner I have Inokatsu AKMS here unbuilt and i managed to get RS russian wooden grips from rusmilitary if thats any help, I also managed to pick up a VFC 74 with wooden stock. I wil have pictures up soon. BTW the AKMS wouldn't look out of place with an elements brown or brick red pistol grip. OMG i just visited and they have AK74SU handguards in stock.... http://www.rusmilitary.com/html/c-deact_furniture.htm Guinness, Concerning the Element grip, the brown one looks closer to the reality than the red one (for an AKSU) mightyjebus, Very nice arsenal !
