Sammyc
hey sammyc those mags look pretty good actually, nice job!! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Cheers mate, all i literally did was draw on them with black permanent pen then smudge it(with my thumb) and basically do it all over the magazines... i just felt the orange was just too orange and needed to be a little more grubby looking. Pants of Death
Okay, here's my addition: Yes, it's a CYMA, but it's a work in progress. After watching the Nat Geo special 'Iraq's Guns For Hire' I had the urge to butcher an AK-47S in the same manner as you see done by a gunsmith for Armor Group International. So, I took apart a CYMA Cm.028s and cut out a good portion of the gas tube and about 5 inches out of the barrel. Tomorrow I'll be kryloning the metal so it's all one color. The next step (when I can afford it) will be to put OD railed furniture with a forehandle on it and a Marui gearbox. Anyway, I'm very pleased with the way it's turned out so far. EDIT: Used the wrong part name. Edited March 30, 2007 by Pants of Death
Sawney
Looks OK. I think it needs a folding stock personally. But if you rape that gun, Jesus will cry .
wicaed
I really like it, but keep the wood.. Please don't add a rail to it.

Pants of Death
Eh. Tomorrow I'm kryloning the furniture OD, I think. I'll post some more pics. EDIT: Oh yeah, anyone notice the poor man's 1-point? Edited March 31, 2007 by Pants of Death
wicaed
Atleast pant it black
Sawney
Keep the wood. You can easily mod a romanian front grip if you want a vert grip. RIS + AKs = raped fugliness.
Pants of Death
I considered black, but I want some kind of contrast. And yeah, I guess I'll do a Romanian front grip eventually. At least it'd be cheaper than a RIS. Edited March 31, 2007 by Pants of Death
Sawney
If you're going to do a romanian front grip, why not keep it wood? You could get a wire stock off of CTD for around $60, and AIMS wood shouldn't be to expensive. You'd need to get a metal body if you were going to put a stock on it most likely. Pants of Death
I don't want to throw that much money into a CYMA without first completely replacing the hop up, barrel, and gearbox. I have however decided not to put a RIS on it. I'll probably go with '74 furniture. And I don't want a stock. And synthetic furniture is badass.
Shroomalistic
That is one hell of a MPi, im just partial to the AIMS cause im still building it(cheaper for me, im a tight wad) Just about finished with the rpk now, say about 90% done

Am I right in thinking its a marui spetsnaz or is it a chopped AK-s with a spets front sight? either way it looks cool. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> its a JG Beita-s, its just a beita with a folding stock. The lower front peice of wood is from a guarder akms carbine kit, the front retainer was made by bullzebub. the pbs5 silencer was made by tascabe at red alliance. The upper and grip are restained king arms ak47s parts. The the front trunion was cut to fit the full upper and the barrel extended to accomidate for the longer lower. its also got an element ribbed receiver cover.
