ok i'm replacing a few psrt on ymy M4 but i have afew questions.

1) Removing the Deltaring / Outer barrel

there are 4 spring pins, but how to get then out? you cant pull them, do you just tap them into the barrel, are they short enought to fall free?

2) Sliding stock

ok the screw on the bottom or the back of the body drops the whole stock off.

but how do you get the stock off the tube?

any dissasembly help is appreciated

also of you take the lower gearbog out, do you need to pull the fire selector out first? does it just pull out?

ta for the help

You're barking up the wrong tree there mate, what you do is take the upper receiver and hop unit/ inner barrel out, pull back and twist the delta ring so it lines up with the two notches and can slide down the barrel, now twist the barrel nut(the bit the spring sits on) loose by wrapping a tea towel around it and turning it clockwise if you're holding the gun the right way around(IE pointing in the direction you'd be shooting) then the barrel pulls out and off

Like CerberusCO said, you pull the tab straight out from the stock instead of levering it.

No but you do need to remove the pistol grip(take out the two screws on the baseplate, disconnect and remove the motor, take out the two screws inside the grip) and the Magazine catch( screw in the middle on the button). After that set the selector to semi pul the trigger very slightly and pull the gearbox out.
