ziggo99
http://www.manions.com/default.aspx It changes, but they have a decent selection and GREAT prices.
Zhang
If you want US woodland just go on Ebay and you can get a used set that looks like new for under 20. A used ACU set will cost you about 40, with MARPAT in the same range. Get the genuine stuff. Knockoffs fade.
SlvrDragon50
I already bought my BDUs from a member here on Arnies... Now me gots another question! I need to get a mag dump ouch and will this suffice? http://cgi.ebay.com/Woodland-MAG-DROP-POUC...oQQcmdZViewItem It looks like it mounts onto the taac belt and where would you hold it? master_titled
Like so: Or for you MOLLE types :
SlvrDragon50
Er, I meant lke, would you mount it on the back, or on teh sides or front? I have molle straps on the back of my vest...
master_titled
I placed mine a little bit the side of my front thigh so i could easily drop mags in.
SEALSniper67
My dump pouch is located on the back of my plate carrier. I would suggest to maybe get a dump pouch that maybe has a velcro flap because the one you have looks like things could fall out of it easy if you're running. No one likes looking for things on the ground in the middle of battle.
SlvrDragon50
Yea.. Im thinkking of bailing on that dump ouch.. Im looking at other mag drop ouches now. Im trying not to spend too much money.. I found these.. http://www.evike.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv...e=Gears_Pouches But I really cant find any cheap mag pouches whatsoever.. The one on ehobbyasia has a tightening strap that I could use...
master_titled
that one from evike is sorta like my M249 Pouch. It can hold 6 M4/M16 mags. in eBay just search for Dump pouch, and there's a plethora of things for sale. What kind of magazine pouches are you looking for? Something like this [double(pictured) or triple]: or this [single, double or triple(pictured)]:
jester401
a good woodland bdu top is the ebay Propper RAID shirt, i love mine, and cant beat it for 27 bucks!
SlvrDragon50
x.x Master: I never said mag pouches... although.. if I buy that gear from you I may need it... But.. both pouches are fine but I like the velcro type but Ive never used the otehr kind.
master_titled
But I really cant find any cheap mag pouches whatsoever.. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Oh yeah?
SEALSniper67
CheaperThanDirt.com has a good variety of things for a fair price. This dump pouch in the link is the one that I own. Dump Pouch
SlvrDragon50
How many mags does it hold? Titled: heh.. I stand corrected...
SEALSniper67
I can fit four M4/M16 mags in it, but it is a tight fit. I'm not going to use mine for mags though. The purpose for mine is to hold extra ammo, reloading tools, etc.
SlvrDragon50
Do you think its best mounted on a CIRAS? Im considering a guarder one
SEALSniper67
Its really all your opinion. Thats whats great about MOLLE. You can customize your own rig for your personal needs. It will go on the CIRAS vest, and I'm pretty sure that everyone who has one probaby has a dump pouch on it. But remember its not limited to a CIRAS it can go on other MOLLE vests too. SlvrDragon50
Im considering this http://cgi.ebay.com/USMC-Marine-Woodland-M...oQQcmdZViewItem or this http://cgi.ebay.com/CIRAS-Marine-Land-MOLL...oQQcmdZViewItem or this http://cgi.ebay.com/Guarder-Digital-CAMO-M...oQQcmdZViewItem Im trying to spend under 80 dollars for a whole loadout
SEALSniper67
Well the plate carrier in the first link is the plate carrier I have. I bought mine from cheaper than dirt w/o pouches. I must say its not a bad carrier for 30 bucks, but I know that they're better ones out there. The CIRAS in the second link I don't think is something you want. I think there was a thread around here a while ago saying the material wasn't that good or there was something wrong with it. The Guarder vest will probably be your best bet because Guarder is known for well quality items. Plus it will be hard to only spend $80 bucks for a complete loadout because you'll find yourself wanting to buy more and more
SlvrDragon50
DO you know of the quality of the first link? And what color should I pick? OD or woodland
